Fallout 4's iconic power armor just got a lot more immersive

Looking back at it, Fallout 4 holds up incredibly well. Bethesda's most recent take on the post-apocalyptic RPG series came out a whopping eight years ago, but I still find that the broad changes to power armor, that attempt to turn it into a truly hulking mass of metal and power, work well. Now, a new mod revises power armor, and makes it more immersive than it's ever been.

Fallout 4 is an amazing RPG game. The gunplay is satisfying, the story is well-told, and Bethesda's version of the Boston Commonwealth is almost endlessly detailed and filled with secrets and quests. But if you've exhausted Elder Scrolls, got sick of Skyrim, and want something to play before the Starfield release date, jumping back into Fallout 4 presents a bit of a barrier, owing to its typically very long loading times. Thankfully, that's no longer an issue, with a new, essential Fallout 4 mod.

The Fallout Deathclaw remains one of the most fearsome enemies in all RPG games. Big, fast, terrifying to look at, and able to kill you in just a couple of slashes, the iconic bipedal reptile is the scourge of Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Fallout 4 players, turning every journey through Bethesda's wastelands into a petrifying dance with death. Now, as we await both the Starfield release date and the Fallout 5 release date, the creator of the Deathclaw for both FO3 and FO4 comments on a very different side of the fandom. Turns out not everyone is afraid of the Deathclaw. Quite the opposite, in fact.
