Fallout 4 mod Fallout: London, which will transport Bethesda's long-standing RPG game from the irradiated US to the equally irradiated UK, has a fresh gameplay video outlining 300 explorable interior locations, new perks, and even the in-game radio - definitely something to look forward to as we continue waiting on the Elder Scrolls 6 release date and, of course, the Starfield release date.

Fallout 4 gets 4K, next-gen PC update as Bethesda overhauls RPG

Fallout 4, the landmark apocalypse RPG game from Elder Scrolls and Starfield developer Bethesda, will receive an official next-gen update covering PC as well as Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with bug fixes, extra Creation Club content, and performance improvements for 4K resolution scheduled to land in 2023 - alongside, of course, the Starfield release date.

Fallout 4 getting a new-gen upgrade in 2023, bringing best-boy Dogmeat to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

As part of celebrating Fallout's 25th anniversary, Bethesda announced that Fallout 4 will be receiving a new-gen upgrade next year.

Fallout celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier this month, so Bethesda has been celebrating in a number of small ways. Those celebrations will slightly extend into 2023 apparently, as in a post rounding everything off with a mixture of interviews and more announced that Fallout 4 will be receiving a free update that will bring the game to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

The update will include "performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay, bug fixes and even bonus Creation Club content," and will also be coming to PC whenever it does launch next year. A specific window wasn't provided on when we can expect that update to arrive, so, sometime in 2023 it is.

One of the most exciting Fallout 4 mods in the semi-near future is Fallout: London, which is due out in 2023 and will take us across the Atlantic to see how jolly old England coped with a bunch of nukes being dropped on it.
