Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio News

First 2020 update!

Many people still suffers with Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio high difficulty.
So I've changed a few rules of the game to make it less hard:

1) Invisible lives are now visible.

2) Touching a life/medkit now will give you 2 life points (instead of 1).

3) Eating a green bird will now give you 3 life points (instead of 2).

4) Extra lives cheat code ("BABABABY") will now give you 64 lives instead of 30.

5) The game still speeds up every new stage, but not as fast as before - making every level less difficult.

I also fixed some synchronization errors in a few animations.
Hope you like it!

08/18/2018 Update

What's new:

1) On old PCs this game now will slowdown instead of using frameskip. I've tested this on a computer that barely runs games released 15 years ago and "Tcheco" was much more pleasant and fluid to play this way.

2) Now players will change from window to fullscreen using F11 (a much more traditional key for this function).

3) Sound volume keys now are F9 (down) and F10 (up).

4) A bug regarding Tcheco's energy bar was fixed.

5) Some animations that could be displayed incorrectly were now fixed. The animations are: Tcheco falling from sky (on stage 1), dog turning (on stage 2), Tcheco using elevator and Venus de Milo's hand taking Tcheco from her stage to next one.

08/06/18 update!

I'm releasing another Tcheco update. What's new:

1) Sound volume control isn't on F12 key anymore (since it's the key used to take screenshots - sorry for this mistake).

2) Sound can be lowered (in 10 different levels) using F2 on keyboard.

3) Sound can be raised (also in 10 different levels) using F3 or LT on (Xinput) gamepad.

4) It's finally possible to change between window, fullscreen and borderless window (F4 on keyboard or RT on gamepad).

This game will always start on borderless window mode (just like it used to do for some time). And everytime you press F4 (or RT) the following modes will cycle:

- Fullscreen (640 x 480)
- Window 1 (640 x 480)
- Window 2 (960 x 720)
- Borderless Windows with aspect ratio type 1 (very stretched horizontally)
- Borderless Windows with aspect ratio type 2
- Borderless Windows with aspect ratio type 3
- Borderless Windows with aspect ratio type 4 (similar to 8-bit NES games to players using a 16:9 monitor).
- Borderless Windows with aspect ratio type 5 (1:1, as this game always starts by default).

Hope you like and feel free to make your comments!
I want to make an option screen very soon - so it will be easier to change these configurations.

Another small update

Today's update allows players to control sound volume.
Every time you press F12 on keyboard volume will turn down. If you press enough to mute the game, press F12 again and volume will go back to 100%.

Hope you like and wait for more updates soon!
