This is happening.[/p][p][/p][p]Service with a Shotgun is officially part of Steam Next Fest - and yes, that means you can play an UPGRADED DEMO![/p][p][/p][h3]And with it comes a shiny UPGRADED DEMO.[/h3][p][/p][p]Here’s what’s upgraded. Brace yourself:[/p]
  • [p]It’s crazy, I know, but you asked and I listened: there is now A SHOTGUN IN THE GAME.[/p]
  • [p]Polished mechanics (less jank, still plenty of chaos).[/p]
  • [p]A brand new model of a machine gun (it looks cooler, therefore it shoots cooler).[/p]
  • [p]Ultra widescreen support[/p]
  • [p]Now, I'm not saying it's Steam Deck verified... but I cannot stop you from playing on it ;)[/p][p][/p]
[p]So yeah, it’s basically the greatest demo of all time.[/p][p][/p][p]If you’ve played before, come see what’s new. If you haven’t, now’s the perfect time to start your shift, serve some latte, and wonder why you suddenly have access to military-grade weaponry.

Dev Log #4 | Design Talk | Mr. Boss

[p]Funny story

Mr. Boss was never supposed to exist. Back in the earliest prototype, he was just a stand-in character so we had someone to yell orders and test cutscenes with. But during playtests, people latched onto him immediately, sorta like the boss you've always wanted that just doesn't give a fuck.

[/h3][p]So instead of scrapping him, we leaned into it. Sorahn decided to give him way more polish than he probably deserved, and somehow he ended up… ridiculously hot? Totally unplanned, but we’re not complaining (and neither are the playtesters).

Dev Log #3 | Design Talk | Killmonger

[p]IIIIIIIIIT's NOLYN!
[/p][p]Time to shine a light on one of my personal favourites: Killmonger.[/p][p][/p][h3]The Original Art [/h3][p][/p][p][/p][h3] [/h3][p]Yes. That's the only size of this design that I have. Iconic.

Killmonger was always a fun character to me, a raider trying to get out of the trap he's found himself in was a really interesting idea I wanted to mess around with. [/p][p]


And I gotta day, I love his character design, I love the slight tweaks that Sorahn did to it. No clue how he pulled what I had in mind from the initial design, but HE DID IT. It fully embodies what I had in mind when I was first ideating him. Plus, the bucket-turned-helmet? Resourceful king. Heavily slept on character. [/p][h3]

5000 Wishlists | Holy Moly

[p]5000 wishlists[/p][p]This is… a lot.

I was halfway through writing a post about 4000 wishlists and then I blinked. I honestly didn’t think we’d get here this quickly, but here we are.

So, in true awards-speech fashion, I’d like to thank:[/p]
