Empire TV Tycoon News

Today is the fifth anniversary of the launch of Empire TV on Steam and we wanted to celebrate it with an official announcement, we are making a new game!.

Our new game is Across the Obelisk an immersive story-driven RPG with deckbuilding combat and roguelite elements, singleplayer or coop multiplayer with up to 3 friends.

We plan to release the game in Early Access in Q1 2021.

As a thank you, we will try to offer a discount to everyone who supported us and bought Empire TV during those years.

When we stopped working at Empire TV we took a little break and since then we have always wanted to make another game, we also had Empire TV 2 in our minds, but due to lack of resources and life itself we never got down to work, after all, we are a small team of two people. A year ago we started working seriously on a new project and thus Across the Obelisk was born.

Three years have passed since we released Empire TV on steam, to celebrate this date we give a special discount, grab it while you can and have fun!

Also, halloween event is near but we can guarantee that the halloween discount won't be supperior to this one.

Hey everybody!

We are so glad to announce that thanks to our recent partnership with Kalypso, Empire TV Tycoon is now available in the App Store for all you iPad users.

Bear in mind that the game is only available for iPad (android tablet version will come in the following weeks). We have not released the game for mobile phones because the limited screen size makes the game almost non playable... anyway, we are looking for zoom features and a future phone version may come in a future.

The iPad version is 1.6.2, the same one that we've deployed right now in Steam. This version includes optimization changes (among some fixes here and there) that we had to do in order to port the game to tablets.

Finally, we want to thank all of you who have been working on mods to expand the core of the game. Please remember that mods let you play with the latest tvshows, movies, custom ads, etc!

If you are a new player and want to try it, here are some of our recommended mods that you can find in the Workshop:

Hello everybody and happy 2017!!!

Over the last months we have been working on the Empire TV Tycoon portability to tablet devices, that means we have optimized the game in lot of ways, as a result of this we bring you a new patch(v1.6) for Empire TV Tycoon.

As we’ve said this patch is all about optimization and improving the game performance. Furthermore, we’ve fixed some minor bugs that we found while working on it.

We hope to release the game for both iOS and Android soon.
