Customer is always right!
Hello there, future Electricians! π
Last week we talked about the packages and the contents of them but, we haven't touched upon the people that send them.
Well now is the time! π₯
First Customers and Reputation
Well everyone has to start somewhere, you have no reputation, no real proof of your expertise yet.
So no rich investor will show up with a plethora of equipment to fix for thousands yet. π€
But you have your neighbourhood! ποΈ

Plenty of grannies with new equipment they don't understand, family men with phones damaged by kids. A bunch of customers right at your door... boring? Wait wait don't leave, give me a second to explain why it is much more exciting than it sounds. π―

Every order, no matter how small, can start a big story. Improving your reputation isn't the only way to unlock more contracts. Satisfying your customers will make them come back and give you more of their equipment, more interactions, more ways to learn about them. And also access to other customers.
There is nothing better than word-of-mouth to mouth advertisement. π¬
You did a quick job in fixing a teenager's phone, his uncle gets interested if his specialized sound equipment can get fixed. And that is a proper source of income π π
More than just an electrician
In modern times people's phones, laptops, and hard drives have become a reflection of their lives. π₯οΈ
Everything is stored on them, and you will often have access to itβ¦ π
During your career you will have to make many decisions, accept or refuse many difficult offers. Some of them will open access to further commissions and more chances to interact with the clients, some will block them. You will control how much you want to be in people's lives, and what type of electronics technician you want to be. π π
There are no wrong options, every decision has consequences that it will be for you to interpret.

Well that's it for now. See you next week!
