Sneak Peek: Fleet Wars!

[h2]Hi Captains![/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p]We are thrilled to bring you a preview of the next major update for Pixel Starships.[/p][p][/p][p]Sound the alarm: it’s time for all-out Fleet Warfare![/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h3]Introducing: Fleet Wars![/h3][p][/p][p]Fleets of all levels can engage in complete roster battles to attack, claim, and control any Star System in the Galaxy.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Each Fleet can own multiple star systems, but taking control of too many star systems may spread your fleet too thin – leaving your systems vulnerable.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Invasion & Raid Engagements[/h3][p][/p][p]Fleet leaders can now trigger Invasion or Raid Engagements (at the cost of Fleet Supplies) on a target Star System.[/p][p][/p][p]A successful Invasion Engagement will grant control of the Star System and all its accompanying benefits.[/p][p][/p][p]A successful Raid Engagement is a shorter challenge that will steal resources, weaken defences, and damage infrastructure within the target Star System.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Both the attacking and defending fleets will receive Engagement Points by winning Ship Battles.[/p][p][/p][p]Points are also granted to any Ships with remaining lives at the time the Engagement is resolved – so make sure you let your strongest members tackle the toughest opponents![/p][h3][/h3][p][/p][h3]Infrastructure[/h3][p][/p][p]Gaining control of a Star System grants access to an array of Infrastructure Bonuses. The types and strength of these bonuses vary from system to system.[/p][p][/p][p]Bonuses are generated each day, depending on the Fleet Supplies you have invested in your controlled system. Rewards can be collected by every member of your Fleet.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

  • [p]Industry – Commandeer system factory works to generate Consumables[/p]
  • [p]Mining – Impose rare earth sanctions to generate Ore Reserves[/p]
  • [p]Science – Fund research initiatives to generate Void Harvests[/p]
  • [p]Civillian – Dictate compulsory service generating free Crew Draws[/p]
