Habloons Are Live, Phase 1 Launch!

[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p]Today we’re rolling out Habloons, a brand-new Habbo Club only currency, now live across the Hotel. This is one of the biggest updates we’ve shipped in a while, and it lays the foundation for a more player-driven economy going forward.[/p][p]What’s launching today is Phase 1 of Habloons. Some parts you’ve seen discussed before, some have evolved based on feedback, and a few ideas (like Noco’s Buyback) didn’t make the cut after the vote. Marketplace support will arrive later as Phase 2.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]What Are Habloons?[/h3][p][/p][p]Habloons are a Habbo Club exclusive currency designed to sit alongside Credits and Stamps, not replace them.[/p]
  • [p]HC members can exchange Credits → Habloons at a 1:1 rate (Example: 50 Credits → 50 Habloons)[/p]
  • [p]Habloons can be used by HC members to:[/p]
    • [p]Mint Habloon Furni[/p]
    • [p]Pay for HC-only room and business features[/p]
    • [p]Can be converted back into credits![/p]
[p]Stamps are unchanged and remain the currency you earn through gameplay, used for clothing, Short Stay furni, and similar rewards.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]🪙 Habloons, Credit Furni Returns[/h3][p]Using Habloons, HC members can now mint a new family of credit-style furniture:[/p]
  • [p]Bronze Habloon - 1 Habloon[/p]
  • [p]Silver Habloon - 5 Habloons[/p]
  • [p]Golden Habloon - 10 Habloons[/p]
  • [p]Sack of Habloons - 20 Habloons[/p]
  • [p]Habloon Bar - 50 Habloons[/p]
[p]These behave similarly to classic credit furni, with a few important differences:[/p]
  • [p]Tradable by any player like normal furniture[/p]
  • [p]Redeemable into Habloons by HC members only[/p]
  • [p]Can be kept forever as decorative items if you choose not to redeem them[/p]
[p]This allows Habloons to move freely between players as furni, while keeping redemption controlled.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]🔁 Habloons → Credits (HC-only, with limits)[/h3][p]HC members can convert some of their Habloons back into Credits via the Habbo Exchange:[/p]
  • [p]HC-only conversion[/p]
  • [p]33% hotel cut (Example: 3 Habloons → 2 Credits)[/p]
  • [p]Weekly cap: up to 500 Credits per HC account[/p]
[p]This means being good at trading or running rooms can earn you a meaningful amount of Credits each week, while keeping the system sustainable long-term.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]🛡️ Account Standing , Why It Exists[/h3][p]Account Standing wasn’t part of the original poll, but it was added deliberately.[/p][p][/p][p]It exists to protect the economy from abuse (such as chargebacks, mule accounts, and rapid cycling) and to ensure Habloons remain fair and sustainable over time. For most normal, active players, day-to-day gameplay shouldn’t feel any different.[/p][p]What this means in practice:[/p]
  • [p]You can see your standing tier and daily credit-furni trade limit in the client[/p]
  • [p]Daily limits scale with your standing (your exact limit is shown)[/p]
  • [p]Accounts need a recent paid transaction (older than 7 days, but within the last year) to purchase credit furni[/p]
  • [p]Some newer or limited accounts may receive temporarily account-bound credit furni after a trade[/p]
    • [p]You can place and decorate your room with it[/p]
    • [p]You can’t trade, or redeem it until the timer expires[/p]
  • [p]Once the timer ends the Habloon furniture will behave as normal.[/p]
[p]These are guardrails, not punishments. If you’re playing normally, you’ll likely only notice this as extra information in the UI.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]🎣 Fishing Derby Update[/h3][p]We’ve made an important fairness change to the Fishing Derby:[/p]
  • [p]Automated Hotel events now only count activity in Public Rooms[/p]
[p]Fishing in private rooms is naturally faster due to reduced movement. This change helps level the playing field for everyone.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]🌍 Localization Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]Localized NPC chatter for Clea[/p]
  • [p]Localized game notifications and updates for Fishing Derby[/p]

  • [p]Empty or inaccessible rooms should no longer appear[/p]
  • [p]Recommendations now focus on rooms that actually make sense to visit[/p]
[hr][/hr][h3]🔥 Hotfixes[/h3][p]We’ve improved the algorithm behind Recommended Rooms:[/p]
  • [p]Resolved an issue which made it impossible to place furniture in rooms.[/p]
  • [p]Corrected the placement of the Bronze Habloon Coin in small rooms.[/p]
  • [p]Resolved an issue preventing the release of the Executive Yukka.[/p]
  • [p]Resolved an issue which caused the catalogue to show an error about a lack of credits, when it was missing Habloons causing the issue.[/p]

  • [p]Marketplace support for Habloons is planned as Phase 2[/p]
  • [p]We’ll be closely monitoring trade behaviour, conversion usage, and Account Standing thresholds[/p]
