Sheji, Functional Furni & EC Shop Updates

[p]This update brings a brand-new furniture line, the start of a live functional furni trial, expanded NPC shops, and a round of important fixes.[/p][p]There’s a lot here, some permanent, some experimental, and some that you’ll soon be voting on. Let’s get into it.[/p][hr][/hr][p]To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Sheji line has officially entered the Hotel.[/p][p]It takes inspiration from the classic Area and Asian lines you already know, while introducing a handful of new pieces to round things out. The goal wasn’t to reinvent the wheel, it was to expand what already works inside Origins. Sheji is designed to sit naturally alongside your existing furniture and feel like it belongs.[/p][p]Keep experimenting. I want to see how far you push this line.[/p][hr][/hr][p]Event Creators have been given access to a new set of lodge-themed functional furniture.[/p][p]Over the next couple of weeks, they’ll be running events that actively use these pieces so everyone can see how they behave in real scenarios. This is a live trial, not a silent rollout.[/p][p]On March 11th, we’ll open a Hotel-wide poll. You’ll decide whether functional furniture becomes a permanent part of Origins, or whether it leaves entirely.[/p][p]During the poll period, ECs will continue running events with it so you can form a proper opinion before voting.[/p][p]If the poll passes, we’ll move forward and explore additional themed sets — Mode, Area and beyond. If it fails, we remove it completely.[/p][p]Community decides.[/p][hr][/hr][p]The Event Creator Shop is now open.[/p][p][/p][p]New name plates, Infostand customisations, and a season-specific EC Badge are available in exchange for EC Tokens. Use an EC Token from your inventory and you’ll be taken directly to the shop.[/p][p]This is about giving Event Creators clearer progression and identity.[/p][hr][/hr][p]We’ve expanded several NPC shops to deepen the gardening and decorative ecosystem.[/p]
