InfoBus Poll: Functional Furniture

[p]Over the past few weeks, many of you will have encountered Functional Furniture through Event Creator games around the Hotel. From puzzle rooms to races and quick-reaction challenges, these items have powered some of the most creative events we’ve seen so far.[/p][p]Now it’s time for the community to decide what happens next.[/p][p]🗳️ The Functional Furniture poll is now open and will run until the 16th.[/p][p]If you’d like to take part, head over to the InfoBus Park and cast your vote.[/p][p][/p]

What is Functional Furniture?
[p]Functional Furniture adds a range of items that perform simple, clear actions inside a room.[/p][p]These pieces aren’t decorative, they’re designed to create interactive moments in games and rooms. Think of mechanics you may already know from the Hotel:[/p]
 • [p]A lever that opens a door[/p]
 • [p]A key that activates a lock[/p]
 • [p]A gate that blocks or allows passage[/p]
[p]They behave much like classic Habbo mechanics such as rollers, teleporters, and one-way gates. Each item does one specific thing and responds to how players interact with it.[/p][p]Importantly, Functional Furni is not Wired. There’s no scripting, no programming, and no complicated automation systems. The idea is to keep things simple and intuitive, while still giving builders more tools to create games and interactive rooms.[/p][p][/p]

Updated Voting Requirements
[p]Alongside this poll, we’ve also made a small update to how voting works in the InfoBus.[/p][p]Previously, players only needed Habbo Club (HC) membership in order to vote. To help ensure that polls better represent active players in the Hotel, we’ve added an additional requirement.[/p][p]To vote in the InfoBus you must now have:[/p]
 • [p]An active Habbo Club membership, and[/p]
 • [p]A combined skill level of 30 across Fishing and Gardening[/p]
[p]This change is intended to reduce the number of bots and alternate accounts attempting to influence votes, while keeping the process accessible to regular players who spend time in the Hotel.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
Tackling Fraud and Abuse
[p]We’ve also recently made some changes behind the scenes to help reduce fraudulent purchases and the movement of items created through payment abuse.[/p][p]For accounts with New or Limited account standing, certain items purchased from the catalogue, particularly rares and Funky Friday furniture, will now be temporarily account-bound for 72 hours after purchase.[/p][p]The buying experience itself hasn’t changed. You can still purchase items normally from the catalogue, but during that short window the item cannot be traded.[/p][p]This delay gives payment providers time to flag potential issues with transactions before those items begin circulating through the trading economy.[/p][p]We also want to be very clear about something here.[/p][p]We’re aware that some players knowingly participated in trading items that were created through fraudulent purchases. While we’re not taking action against those users at this time, we’re disappointed to see members of the community choosing to take advantage of that situation. We won’t be so lenient next time.[/p][p]Habbo Hotel: Origins works best when players treat the economy, and each other, fairly. Going forward, we expect better.[/p][p]🗳️ Voting is open now and closes on the 16th.[/p][p]Head to the InfoBus Park, cast your vote, and help decide whether Functional Furniture becomes part of the future of Habbo Hotel: Origins.[/p]
