DBD cosmetic contest causes chaos, sees one entry skip public vote

Some survivors in Dead by Daylight can feel more loved than others, especially when it comes to cosmetics. There'll be some which seem to get new gear regularly, while others languish on the sidelines barely getting anything. One way developer Behaviour Interactive tries to address this is with the regular cosmetic contest, where fans submit their ideas and then there's a public vote. This year, however, one under-loved survivor has stirred up a big pot of drama.

DBD creator buys Darkest Dungeon dev, 6 days after closing Midwinter

Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive has acquired Darkest Dungeon studio Red Hook. The DBD team says Red Hook will remain "fully independent" despite the acquisition, with Behaviour aiming to support the studio in all future endeavors. This comes less than a week after Behaviour canceled its PvE game Project T, and closed developer Midwinter Entertainment alongside it.

Project T, the Dead by Daylight PvE spin-off, has been cancelled after the playtest 'yielded unsatisfactory overall results'




Project T's story came to an end before we even got to see what a Dead by Daylight PvE multiplayer would be like for ourselves. A few days ago, Behaviour Interactive announced that the project would be terminated following some pretty poor playtest feedback...
