Dead by Daylight ventures to space with a terrifying new threat

The next chapter of Dead by Daylight introduces sci-fi horror to the action horror game with a new map and Killer on the loose.

The next chapter takes place on a mysterious planet housing the remnants of an ancient civilization. Titled, End Transmission, the map is a unique biome with menacing flora, and within it lurks The Singularity.

This monstrous being restructured of organic matter and machine parts seeks to assimilate all organic life and become the perfect life form.

Supermassive Games has another horror title in the works, and it's a single-player game based in Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight universe.

The interactive story game from the studio behind Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Quarry will offer players an "intense narrative experience."

With the game, you can expect life-or-death choices set within the backdrop of Dead by Daylight. More information on this project will be revealed later this year.

A string of game-altering quality of life changes have been announced in the Dead by Daylight anniversary livestream, with long sought after DBD survivor disconnect bots and more anti-camping measures leading the way. These changes to the horror game are just a few of those announced to try and recover some excitement in an uncertain playerbase.

Dead by Daylight's new killer is basically just Alien

Dead by Daylight chapter 28 has been confirmed as another original story, and the unlicensed new killer, survivor, and map are sure to upset some fans of the horror game. Historically, the anniversary chapter, falling in June every year, sees the release of a licensed collaboration, such as Silent Hill's Pyramid Head or Resident Evil's legendary Nemesis, who both fare well in our DBD killer tier list, and fans were hoping for something similar going into year eight. One leak did suggest that the new Dead by Daylight killer would be Alien, and, to be honest, it's not far wrong.
