We’ve finally revealed a new arachnid today, the Trapdoor spider, and that means we have one left to reveal. A BIG one. A big…hairy…fast one. Even we’re scared of that one. Keep your eyes peeled for Monday![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Creature Feature Episode 3 revealed the trapdoor spider, our new subterranean menace, as well as several new locations within Atherton HQ. The trapdoor spider is lighting fast and its burrows aren’t easy to detect, and you’ll first encounter them in the living quarters, an area dedicated to staff downtime. But don’t think you can relax as the trapdoor isn’t the only spider enjoying the amenities. Their reach might extend to a small area, much like the orb weaver, but carelessness will result in death, especially if something else was chasing you at the same time…[/p][p][/p][p]We also revealed the terrarium, undoubtedly our most unsettling and nerveracking location. It’s a natural hunting ground for numerous spider types, an area created by Atherton’s scientists specifically for observing their eight legged nightmares. It’s dark, overgrown, filled with burrows and webbing, and not somewhere you can avoid.
