[/p][p]Great news! Our first patch is now live. Patch 1.0.1 focused on the two biggest issues, specifically the random soft locks that would halt story progress, and the inventory either duplicating or deleting items.
[/p][p]We’ve detailed a number of larger things below, and there are many smaller things in the background.[/p][p][/p]
[/p][p]Lastly, a note about the save system. Huntsman was always intended to be a challenging and tense experience, with the risk/reward of navigating areas full of giant spiders, juggling whether to find collectibles, etc. The original Resident Evil games were an enormous source of inspiration for Huntsman, and we are aiming for that same atmosphere of dread and anxiety. - [p]Elevator blocking progress. The elevator should now allow you to open the gates and function after death and loading a save.[/p]
- [p]The lab area should no longer have issues with objects being there that shouldn't be[/p]
- [p]The spider should now be teleporting and behaving properly in certain areas[/p]
- [p]Inventory should now longer duplicate items on death and load, and should properly save your inventory between saves and reloading[/p]
- [p]Inventory no longer occasionally locks while inspecting items[/p]
- [p]Security room door lock resolved[/p]
- [p]On loading a save or death, the player should not be triggering the Flashlight objective anymore[/p]
- [p]DLSS no longer turning itself off - this will help with overall performance[/p]
- [p]Additional signposting to highlight the need to regularly save the game manually[/p]
- [p]General performance improvements in a variety of small areas, to improve framerate[/p]
