[p][/p][p]Hello everyone, we're
CineGame Interactive, an independent team creating live-action interactive film and television games. [/p][p]Last month, we launched the store page for Killing Game of The Thirsty which has received a lot of feedback and garnered over 1,000 wishlists. Thank you for your interest![/p][p]

[/p][p]This developer blog also includes excerpts from some of the responses, primarily regarding our design philosophy and development direction, to help you better understand our original intentions behind making the game.[/p]
① Why create a game themed around "school bullying"?
[p]We chose "school bullying" as the theme of our game because we deeply care about this social phenomenon. It's not only a real trauma for many individuals growing up, but also reflects complex social, educational, and psychological issues.[/p][p]We hope that "games" can be more than just "games," but can also serve as a social scalpel: awakening widespread social empathy and awareness of protection; prompting the public (especially parents and educators) to confront the seriousness and far-reaching harm of bullying, and promoting a safer and healthier school environment. This is also the original intention of our creation.[/p][p]

② Why did we choose the film-game format?
[p]Excellent predecessors such as "The Invisible Guardian" and "Over Room 13" have profoundly demonstrated the unique power of interactive film and games to carry serious issues and convey universal values. We chose this format precisely because we hope to stand on the shoulders of giants, using cinematic immersive experiences and player interaction to jointly explore the social issue of school bullying and continue everyone's expectations for "serious" interactive film and games.[/p]
③ So, are you encouraging victims of bullying to resort to violent revenge?
[p]The "revenge" plot in the game is an artistic expression method that serves dramatic conflict and emotional catharsis. We do not encourage any form of violence in real life.[/p][p]Instead, the game will include built-in guidance and resources designed to promote the right response strategies: encouraging victims to seek help from trusted adults (parents, teachers) or professional organizations; encouraging bystanders to speak up; and truly resolving issues through psychological support, legal channels, and community collaboration. This is a crucial social responsibility of our project.[/p][p]

④ What is the current progress of the game?
[p]We are currently in active development. We have completed important tasks, including polishing the core script, filming key scenes, and building some programming modules. Overall progress is in line with expectations.[/p]
⑤ What are the subsequent production plans?
[p]We will continue to invest and advance the subsequent filming, production, and interactive optimization work in phases, aiming to meticulously polish every aspect.[/p][p]A series of related events are also in the works, giving players the opportunity to visit the set and engage in in-depth discussions with the production team. Stay tuned for further updates! If you have any suggestions or feedback about the game, please share them in the comments.[/p]
