Kundara Dungeon: Adjustments
The difficulty of some traps at the Kundara Dungeon map has been decreased and some of them have been removed for easier run through. Also the trap with the 3 snake heads has been reworked.

General Fixes and Changes
- Channel 3 now gives 10% Channel EXP Bonus if you are playing on the recommended channel
- The channel buffs (Dragon Lord's Bless Ch.1, EXP 5% Ch.2, EXP 10% Ch.3) are now removed when the player is beyond the recommended max level of the particular channel
- The blind effect from the Warlock's skill Energy Buster has been removed since it had no effect, the description has been adjusted accordingly
- The non-working Minimap on Marshmallow Valley Dark, Dusk and Dawn moods has been fixed

Summer is here and the temperature is rising. What could be better than going to the beach, jumping into the cool water and enjoying the summer sun, looking at all the palm trees while having a cool Pineapple Drink and listening to some Reggae Music? The full Jamaica feeling hits Port of the Winds – the whole day – and from dusk til dawn. But the summer in Dragon Saga is more than just being lazy! Fight monsters and get some nice event stuff! Take your gear and help the small baby dragon Yongha out with his problem at the Summer Wave Coast. A lot of nice stuff is awaiting you.

When entering Summer Wave Coast an instanced map with end reward boxes is ready for you. The map can be entered starting with Level 25. The levels of the monsters are auto scaling to the level of the party leader. The map can only be entered if the level difference of all party members is not higher than 5 levels.
Some of the monsters are dropping an item which can be traded with the Baby Dragon NPC Yongha for one of four boxes containing random stuff:

•Cool Summer Costume Box
contains 2 different event costumes which are fully tradable, but soulbound once equipped

•Cool Summer Rummage Box
contains a lot of summer accessory stuff including some highlights (Paris Wing Mood Box, Wings of Darkness, Lightness and Sunrise).
Additionally the box can contain a Melony Balloon which increases Enchant and Soulcraft Success Chance by 4%

•Cool Summer Pet Box
contains some summer pet (regular pets, not support pets) and can yield the Melony Pet
•Tropical Weapon Box
contains an event IM weapon (Lv.20) for a random class with some stats

Atlantis Weapons
The legend of Atlantis says it once was a city full of technology and mystery which sunk one day. To this day the ocean kept the secret of Atlantis. But you can become part of the myth by grabbing yourself one of the Atlantis Weapons which can be obtained from the Atlantis Weapon Gasha Box you can get from the Item Mall for 80 IM Points each. Each box gives you an Atlantis Weapon for a random class. This weapon was inspired by community request.

J'aime! Event
We are an international server. Because of this Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Magma Dungeon, Galaxy Dungeon, Element Dungeons and Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary are dropping "J'aime" Items this time. You can collect them and trade them at the Vending Machine for a part of the I Like! Accessory Set.

The event runs until July 28, 13:00 Server Time.

Change: CoD Mail Pickup Time
We have changed the time period in which you have to pickup the CoD Mail attachment before it is returned to the sender to 1 day. After 1 day the mail including the attachment is returned to the sender. Opening the mail does not increase the pickup time anymore.

Change: Pathfinder
We have fixed a bug in the pathfinder class skills. Some of the trap skills were able to be set up in air while they shouldn't. However, we have decided to keep the Freezing Trap and Splash Trap as is and adjusted the skill description to inform that dropping these traps is possible in air. The possibility of using Tesla Coil in air has been removed. We decided like this because we see no difference between the behavior of the different traps, while Tesla has a completely different behavior (for example running continously and being able to hit an enemy multiple times).

We have added a new support pet – Marky (the Eagle) – to the Item Mall. It comes with Teleport, Teleport Discount, This is mine, Share Exp, Nursing and Better Potion.


The pet itself is quite small, so it's perfect for players who like small pets:

Do you want to level your Support Pet/Mount faster? Then this new item is for you.
The all new Pet EXP Potion is now available at the Item Mall. It increases the amount of EXP the Pet gets from the player by 15% (which means the pet then gets 25% of the player's EXP instead only the regular 10%). Choose the one which fits for you:
If you are a casual player you might think that 30 minutes duration is enough for you. Or you are playing more frequently then the 1 hour duration is perfect. If you're a power player we have the 2 hours duration potion for you. Just go and grab it!

2x Pet EXP Potion [30 minutes] 40 IM Points
2x Pet EXP Potion [1 hour] 70 IM Points
2x Pet EXP Potion [2 hours] 120 IM Points

You want to try it out first? Go to Gato and get the Event quest from him. He gives you 4x [Event] Pet EXP Potion [15 minutes] which gives you a 5% bonus on the EXP the pet gets from the player.
The quest is only available until July 14, 13:00 Server Time and can only gotten once per character.

[h2]Betatest: New Video Player System (Phase 1)[/h2]
As you might have already heard Microsoft is dropping Internet Explorer support soon. Many of the video player systems Dragon Saga is using are based and relying on a working Internet Explorer and additionally a working Adobe Flash plugin which has already been discontinued since January 2021. Because of this many of you might already have been faced the Cannot initialize WB message instead of seeing a video cutscene. Dragon Saga is using 3 different approaches to show videos: Internt Explorer, ActiveX components and DirectShow. All three are quite outdated technologies and need a replacement. We took this opportunity to start replacing these old video technologies step by step by a modern video system based on Google's VP9/WebM technology.

As a first step we replaced the intro movie and it's player by that new technology and it has been included into this maintenance as beta test. This means that you will see the intro video every time you start the game for now to make sure that this video system is running for everyone without any issues. You can skip the video everytime by pressing the ESC key.

If you come across any issues with the new video system (for example client crashes, missing video or audio during the movie is playing) please let us know. In the case you are not able to get into the game you can turn off the new video system by following these steps:

Open the Explorer and find the folder where your dragon saga installation is located (for the web client the default location is C:\Gravity and for steam it is the drive where your steamapps are located inside the folder Common). Then open the folder Dragon Saga (or DragonSaga) find the folder Release. Find a file named extracfg.txt. Open this file in an editor (for example by pressing the right mouse button on it and select edit from the drop down menu).

Change the 1 to 0, save the file and the new video player is deactivated.

- Change: Phoenix Mount's Fire Cloud skill has been renamed to Heat Cloud to prevent confusion.
- Change: Knorxos Mount's Bite off skill has been renamed to Strong Bite to prevent confusion.
- Change: Adjusted the Silence Trap of the Pathfinder Class. Lv.1 – Lv.3 now only gives a Lv.1 Silence Effect, Lv.4 and Lv.5 is giving a Lv. 2 Silence Effect. This has been done to prevent that the skill can be casted continously without a break.
- Change: Adjusted [Best] Dark Soul Sets for Knight, Bandit and Infiltrator and removed useless stat.
- Textfix: Several quest text fixes.
- Textfix: Several item text fixes.
- Fix: Waltz can now be used at the Wedding Hall as well.
- Bugfix: High Energy Plasma and Mysterious Fragments can no longer be put into the account vault. The possibility was a bug and was never intended.

Collect Purple Coins by killing Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary and trade them for a Nostalgia Quiver Box, Nostalgia Wing Box, Nostalgia Muffler Box or Nostalgia Cape Box for your particular class. Every box costs 15 Purple Coins.
Or exchange 20 of them for a Cape Gasha Box, Wing Gasha Box, Quiver Gasha Box or Muffler Gasha Box which contains an IM Backpack item wearable by every class.

This event stays until July 21, 13:00 Server Time.

[h2]General Fixes and Changes [/h2]
- Change: The prerequisite to enter the Dungeon of Destiny has changed. You now need to have the quest Dark Abyss Ceremony (Edge of the World F5) completed before you are able to enter the Dungeon of Destiny.
- Fix: (for consistency) Removed that Dragokin Magma Lord weapons are soulbound after equipping.
- Correction: The tooltip of the Devil's Soul Stone is now displaying that it is not able to be put into the account vault as well.
- Fix: Fixed that the windows title bar was still able to block the game processing when opening up the context menu by clicking on it with the right mouse button.
- Fix: Fixed minor bugs with party buffs.
- Fix: Fixed an issue that results in a map server crash at some specific Galaxy maps under some reare circumstances.
- Change: Inside the boss room of the Element Dungeons mobs are only respawning 2 times now. Inside the boss room of the Fire Dungeon the Red Dong Dongs are respawning a lot faster (every 15s) but only have a chance of 70% to drop a mana bullet. Also their level is now auto adjusting.
