Kiipluu - FAQ
[p]
[/p][p][/p][p]Q: What are your inspirations behind Kiipluu?[/p][p]A: When beginning work on Kiipluu, we sought to create a new experience that paid homage to our favorite hardcore stealth action adventure games with modern sensibilities like branching narrative paths and choice-based combat encounters. We wanted players to have ownership over how they approached combat encounters while providing a compelling world for players to explore. [/p][p]
[/p][p]Q: Why did you choose the Neolithic Era as the setting for Kiipluu? A: The Neolithic Era felt like the perfect setting to express the sheer brutality that we were striving for with Kiipluu while we took players on an adventure in an underexplored period of history rich with intriguing mythical tales for us to build off of. This era of history also allowed us to explore the power struggle between cannibals and hunters and the different cultural dynamics present amongst the tribes of the time.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Q: What type of difficulty can we expect in Kiipluu?
A: We created Kiipluu to be a hardcore experience for fans of the Stealth genre. Enemies regularly outnumber you, tension is high, and the consequences of your actions matter. [/p][p]
[/p][p]In Kiipluu, direct combat is an option, but it comes at a cost as the Na’ush can quickly overwhelm you. The journey ahead isn’t for the faint of heart, but with careful planning, patience, and keen decision-making, we believe fans of the stealth, action-adventure, and survival genres will find a lot to enjoy.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Q: What went into the music composition and production for Kiipluu?
A: From ambient effects to epic orchestral moments, it has been an honor working with our composer, Juan García-Herreros. The first time we heard the score, we immediately shared it with the entire team and we couldn’t believe how well it captured the emotional intensity of the story we aim to tell with Kiipluu. [/p][p]
[/p][p]We first met Juan at Gamescom and then he later went on to do incredible work on the Dune films and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6-7. We couldn’t have found a better collaborative partner to help us shape this dark, mythical world. [/p][p]
[/p][p]You can check out a behind-the-scenes video on our socials highlighting the process of making the music for Kiipluu!
A: What features can we expect to see expanded upon or updated when Kiipluu officially launches next year?[/p][p]A: After the release of the demo, our goal is to gather player feedback and use it to help make Kiipluu the best experience it can be. In addition to technical adjustments and combat balancing, at launch, look forward to expanded features like our branching narrative system, where you will make key decisions that influence what happens to Kiipluu on his journey.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Q: Where can I report bugs or glitches that I’ve run into?[/p][p]A: Feel free to post on the Steam Community Page, or you can chat with us on Discord![/p]
