Windrose Demo Support

[h2]Windrose Demo is now fully supported in SaveSync![/h2]

You can now share Windrose Demo worlds and seamlessly transfer the host (host migration). This allows everyone in your group to continue playing the same world even when the original host is offline.
Since the demo does not include built-in cloud save support, SaveSync also acts as a cloud save system, keeping your world backed up and synced across players.

[h2]One-Time Setup (Host)[/h2]
  • Open SaveSync
  • Go to Windrose Demo
  • Click Add Save and select your save
  • Click Share icon
  • Add your Steam friend by name and share

That’s it!
[h2]From now on:[/h2]
  • Saves sync automatically
  • Any shared friend can host the world
  • Progress is preserved across sessions
  • Full save history is maintained, so you can revert if a save is accidentally modified or corrupted (in-game or externally)

UX Update: Play Button Added

[h3]We’ve added Play Button to SaveSync![/h3]

You can now use SaveSync as your starting point before launching a game:
  • Quickly check if your saves are fully synced
  • Click Play to launch the game
  • Game launches using steam://run/ for seamless Steam integration
  • For non-Steam titles like Minecraft and Hytale, the Play button will automatically open their respective official launchers.


This makes SaveSync a smoother pre-game hub experience and will be especially useful for Steam Deck users (when Linux/SteamOS support rolls out).

Feed the beast (FTB) Support

[h3]Feed the beast (FTB) is now fully supported in SaveSync![/h3]

You can now share Minecraft worlds and seamlessly transfer the host (host migration). This means everyone in your group can continue playing the same world even when the original host is offline, no dedicated servers required.

UX Changes: Favourites

You can now favourite games and filter your library to quickly access them. This makes it easier to find the games you care about most, especially if you have a large library.

  • Open your desired game and click the Favourite button
  • Go to Filter, select Favourites, and apply it to show only your favourite games
