Ashes of the Damned — Chapter 1: The Forgotten Ward News

Official Partnership Announcement – The Forgotten Ward joins indie.io

[p][/p][p]I’m excited to share that Ashes of the Damned: The Forgotten Ward has officially partnered with indie.io![/p][p]I started working on the game in July 2025, and these past few months have been an incredible journey of building the world, the scares, and the lore behind it. What began as a simple idea to create an unsettling, atmospheric horror experience quickly grew into something much larger. Every day of development pushes me to make it more immersive and terrifying.[/p][p]For those of you who may not know, working with a game publishing platform like indie.io greatly helps indie developers focus on game development while they handle all the behind-the-scenes magic. From helping manage store pages to crafting marketing campaigns and even helping the game shine at both digital and live events, indie.io helps in all the aspects that indie developers often struggle with alone.[/p][p]I chose indie.io because they have a great track record of helping indie games reach more players, and other developers have spoken very highly of their experience working with them. This partnership will help Ashes of the Damned: The Forgotten Ward reach more gamers who love psychological horror and atmospheric storytelling.[/p][p][/p][p]You can check out indie.io’s Steam Publisher Page to see other great indie titles:[/p][p]👉 https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/indieio[/p][p][/p][p]Wishlist and follow Ashes of the Damned: The Forgotten Ward on Steam:[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Don’t forget to follow and wishlist the game, and join the community Discord to stay up to date with new updates and scares ahead.[/p][p][/p][p]

200 Wishlists Reached + A Small Apology

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p]First, an apology for the recent silence. I’ve been heads-down in development, working on some things I’m dying to show you, but I need to keep them hidden a little longer. Trust me, it will be worth the wait.[/p][p]In the meantime, I’m excited to share that we’ve crossed 200 wishlists! That may sound like a small step, but for a solo horror project like this, it’s a huge milestone and a real motivator to keep going. Thank you all for your support 🖤[/p][p]Here’s a new glimpse inside the asylum while you wait:[/p][p][/p][p]Want to join the community and talk with other survivors?
