Ha, gotcha![/p][p]During 2025 we’ve officially celebrated our 10th anniversary as a studio, but during 2014 Christmas we did our very first holiday greeting card. In 2024 we wanted to pay a tribute to that very first festive illustration and we hid some easter eggs that we want to reveal today, as there aren't any spoilers anymore.[/p]

• [p]The most noticeable is the composition. In 2014, when only Nika existed, we had to make a personal appearance to complete the scene. Mariona and Javi to be precise. For 2024 Nika had been promoted to replace Javi and lifted Agatha as best as she could.[/p]
• [p]In 2024, as we hadn’t revealed Clem’s face in social networks yet (we did during her launch's first anniversary), we found a way to place her casually without showing her face. It wasn’t the right time, yet.[/p]
• [p]The tree ornaments in 2014 were just all MechaNika’s gears. Luckily, 10 years later we have more games under our belt and you can find all our games referenced. Can you spot them all?[/p]
• [p]And last, the star, the most special ornament, it’s also an easter egg. It’s an element of the Wand of the Eternal Smile from Angie Magica, our WIP game that we started precisely in 2024.[/p]

[p]Hi folks! 😀[/p][p] [/p][p]Last week we announced this new project as the next Psychotic Adventure. Your support was amazing! And even though we tried to answer everyone, we were super focused on Angie's first public appearance at BCN Game Fest.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We had so much fun talking to everyone who passed by our booth to play the premiere demo, get some merch or just say hi.[/p][p] [/p][p]Working in secret for more than a year was kinda hard, this is why we wanted to make this first appearance so special. For the occasion we prepared a lot of cool stuff. Let’s take a look![/p][p][/p][h3]THE WAND OF THE ETERNAL SMILE[/h3][p]We had this very clear vision that we absolutely needed a real life sized wand in our booth, so we decided to craft it. Jordi modeled a 3D version ready to print and with some coats of primer and paint made by Mariona, we got this amazing prop for all upcoming events.[/p][p][/p][p]Check out how it was “magically” appearing. It’s mesmerising.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] [/p][h3]MERCH[/h3][p]We just crafted one single wand but, in case you also want to run around with your very own Wand of the Eternal Smile, we got you. This keychain version can be with you everyday, ready to unleash all your power to face any challenge that requires a little bit of magical girl energy.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] [/p][h3]RETRO TV[/h3][p]Another cool thing we had was a TV with an early gameplay video of the game running during the event. A retro pink CRT TV with DVD player, how cool is that?[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]There was even more awesome content, but we don't want to overwhelm you with too many cool things at once. We are so grateful to every fan and new player who tested Angie Magica and shared their impressions with us. Agatha's story is quite special, let's jump to a mini time travel.



Unlike other psychotic girls, she was fully designed and portrayed for the first time back in 2007. She waited patiently 8 years to be reborn again as a videogame character, the little blue haired butcher that you all know.

Today we celebrate 8 years since she reappeared as an interactive persona, showing you these 8 eras, 8 different Agathas. Paying homage to all the faces she showed us along these years, we prepared this stunnig collage.
