After incredible and difficult years of development, we are beyond thrilled to finally release the 1.0 of Planet Centauri to the world. This moment represents far more than just a game launch — it's a testament to perseverance, madness, and the unwavering support of our amazing community.

First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to every single person who has believed in this project. To our dedicated fans who have followed our journey, provided feedback, shared their excitement, and remained patient through years of development—you are the true heroes of Planet Centauri.

A special acknowledgment goes to the incredible freelancers who poured their talent, time, and passion into bringing this dream to life. Each artist, animator, sound designer who contributed has left an indelible mark on Planet Centauri. Your commitment and skill have transformed our initial vision into a living, breathing world.

This release is not just our achievement, it's a collective triumph. We couldn't have reached this milestone without the continuous support, constructive criticism, and genuine enthusiasm from our community.

About the patch note: We've made a significant change to how players first experience Planet Centauri. We've completely overhauled the tutorial system, replacing the old, rigid quest structure with a more organic and immersive introduction to the game world. Gone are the traditional, repetitive tutorial quests that felt disconnected from the game's core experience. Instead, we've crafted an intuitive, seamless onboarding that allows players to naturally discover the game's mechanics while being fully engaged with the world and story.



ps : About the OST, we sadly not get the validation yet but it will come in the very few next days!



Changelog 1.0:

Adds:
  • Guidance system: uses the completion tree to display objectives and help the player to progress.
    The guidance system can be disabled in Game options.
  • Option to change the direction only when moving with the keyboard (player is not facing automatically the mouse)
Changes:
  • Quests and dialogs with the crystal have been removed and replaced by the guidance system
  • Worm transformation is always visible
Fix:
  • Several dozen bugs fixed

Full rework of the Alchemy system (potion crafting), new essence and few changes


Changelog 0.14.3:

Adds:
- Essences: a new type of material that can be extracted from any plant and any monster part using the "Essence extractor" and crafting

Changes:
- New alchemy system, fully reworked potions crafting
- Food and potion no longer heal instantly. It will take 1 second instead.
- An "Essence extractor" can be found on the windmill ruin near the spawn (a new world is required to access this specific structure).
- Added some SP/MP regeneration on the main crystal.
- Each unlocked objective grant 5 fame.
- Thrust skill was nerfed.
- Thrust skill can be canceled (jump/dash).
- New potions: elemental resistance

Fix:
- Fixed directional dash on ground (down, down sides)
- Fixed world generation on building mode
- Damages displayed on boomerang don't take into account the level
- Probability on special craft tables is ignored

New class (Dragon Armor)!


Changelog 0.14.2

New class (dragon armor) with 4 new skills:
- Draconic Ascension
Become a dragon, surrounded by an aura of heat and fire. Increase ascension time by hitting or killing enemies with the Blazing Sphere. - Blazing Sphere Launch a blazing sphere. More powerful in draconic ascension. DMG dealt by this skill is increased by 1.7% / 2% of Max SP respectively in normal / dragon form. - Dragon's Call Summons a dragon made of fire. DMG dealt by this skills have a multiplier bonus of 1% of Max HP. - Heat Wave Unleash an aura of fire and inflict Burn(III).

New class! New progression system (farewell mandatory hammers!), Update API


Changelog 0.14.1

New class (gold armor) with 4 new skills:
1 - Celestial Ascension Become a celestial being, surrounded by an aura of sacred light. 2 - Radiant strike Shoots an arrow of divine light. Significantly more powerful when used during celestial ascension. 3 - Guardian Seraph Summons an animated golden shield, damaging nearby enemies. 4 - Sanctifying Aura Creates a radiant aura of purifying light around you, providing protection and regeneration.

New progression system: anvils no longer requires hammers.
Anvils can be enhanced with materials:
- You still can use hammers to enchance an anvil (fill the exp gauge)
- You can use materials to increase the exp gauge of the anvil:
- Metal bars / ores of the associated tier
- Monster loot
- Misc materials
- "Auto" to add materials automatically as with the "Upgrade" menu
- Then you need specific materials to ascend your anvil, as with the "Upgrade" menu

Modding:
- TextureAtlas entries with dynamic loading
- Damagers can use a TextureAtlas
- Composite animations for Damagers
- Added some new api (see moddable/Monsters/GoldenShield/script.lua)

Misc:
- updated the progression tree for the steel and gold armor
