New patch! Pad/Steamdeck compatibility! + New event

At least! Many players were impatiently waiting to be able to play with a controller or the steamdeck, it is now possible!

The implementation is done but there may be problems and we are counting on you to report to us any problems encountered related to the use of your controllers or the steamdeck!

IMPORTANT! For Steam Deck users: Change the Current Layout to the "Gamepad With Joystick Trackpad" template (click on the controller icon to the right of Play).

About the event, you will sometimes see bubbles in the sky containing objects, it's up to you to get them!

Adds:

- Controller support (experimental)
- Ability to switch from controller / keyboard in game just by pressing any key
- New optional directional mode (experimental)
- New small event: bubbles

Fix:
- TRex is uncapturable
- Random crash when starting

The directional mode no longer uses the cursor as a reference for the front of the player.
If you press Left, the player will move to the left, even if he was facing right.
You can toggle the directional mode with 'L1 + Y'.

Note: atm the game only support one layout, but it should be possible to configure different layouts with Steam big picture.

No menu is associated to to the controler, but you should be able to use any controller at any time.

New patch! Lasers! New magic wand terraformation



Adds:
- Lasers
- New rune: Mana regen / Mana per hit
- Magic wands to change the ground surface
- Ice blocks transmutation magic wand

Engine
- Dynamic laser engine, fully customisable from config files
- color, size, shape
- deformation type
- configurable lightning effect arround
- Guns can burst dynamic lasers with access to all custom parameters

Fixed
- Soulgems bounce on companion orbs and NPCs (shops)
- Doors cannot be closed if there is a companion orb in the way
- Small grass and ground deposits are not rendered correctly in windy conditions
- Protector unique monsters can be catched


New patch! Orbs companion! Terrain transmutation!

Adds:
- 4 new companion orbs (craft)
- 3 unique companion crafted using the orbs dropped by bosses,
you can press R on them and pay with a relic (currency) to unlock their true potential
- 2 terrain transmutation grenades (craft)
- New configuration file type: ConversionTable (used for transmutation grenades)
- Basic new shader for blending and transparency: "colored"
- Afterglow dynamic configuration for bullets
- Added multiple lua APIs:
- Passive pets configuration
- Bullets configuration
- Color blending in render states (rendering)

Changes:
- Recycler 'add auto' options will not add equipment with runes

Fix:

- Monsters are not visible in the incubator
- Fixed lasers visual on death

Engine:

- Fixed crash if tamed monsters (ex: chicken) received exp and level up.
- Unique monsters don't loot the expected loot/currencies.
- Water blocks are not updated if a neighboring chunk is loaded.

New patch! New currency (and totems)! Shopkeepers! Named monsters! World curse!

Holy cow already 3 1/2 months seens the last patch! Sorry but it was a pretty hard one to made.

Adds:
- Spawn override system for events (will be used to create invasions, special monsters, give more controls about the spawn system and so more possibilities, unlock new npc etc...)
- New event block: spawn_override
- Special NPCs with a shop system (fully moddable, in lua)
- Soulgems seller (level 1, 2 and 3) in caves
- Seals seller (level 1, 2 and 3) in caves
- Bazar (in caves 1 and 2)

- Curse Totem: when you touch it's aura, it will curse the world.
Then you can pay with souls to get a powerful buf.
- New craft station: altar of blessing
- Trigger system on entities (with lua bindings)
- Global events entries (containing the same json code as event blocks)
- New lua bindings (used for the shop and the new totems)

Changes:
- Soulgems are fireproof (not destroyed by lava)
- Legendary items are fireproof
- Reworked seeds tables dropped from grass, some seeds are no longer dropped by grass
- In the console, set the cursor to the end of the line when using up/down

Fix:
- Healing preset crash the preview in custom magic creation
- Healing spell show continuous 0 damages
- Invalid items entries "crash" the game when clicked/thrown
- Standard skeleton don't have the right color (sand color instead of white)

New patch! Aura system! Totems!

Adds:
- Aura system: a circual AoE that can be assigned to any entity, can be modded with config files
- 14 totems (added in lua):
- Burning totem lv1 and lv2 with a small burning aura
- Poison totem lv1 with a small poison aura
- High gravity totem, with an aura that increase gravity for the player
- Pulsed totem, high recoil and blast damage
- Healing totem that heals monsters in the AoE
- Slow totem with an aura that inflict Slow
- Haste totem with an aura that inflict Haste
- Stop regen totem with an aura that disable healing
- Umbra totem that creates a zone of darkness (3 levels)
- Fire totem that uses fire magic
- Ice totem that uses ice magic
- Electric totem that uses lightning magic
- Shadow totem that uses shadow magic
- Light totem that uses light magic (3 levels)
Note: totems will spawn rarely on the world and can't be catched

Changes:
- When crafting, the cursor item is automatically sent to the bag if you craft a different object
- Incubator ergonomy: place the gem directly in the inventory if you click on the empty slot

Fix:

- Monsters are not visible in the incubator
- Fixed lasers visual on death

Engine:

- Implementation of a quadtree to optimize collisions and damages on entities
- Lua API for auras
- lua package system to import external lua scripts from the moddable folder
