Borderless Gaming v1.0.9

Minor patch to fix a rare crash on certain systems.

Borderless Gaming v1.0.8

Hey everyone,

In my haste to release fixes, the last update (v1.0.7) was actually a duplicate of v1.0.6. Consequently, v1.0.8 includes all the fixes that were supposed to be in v1.0.7.

Additionally, v1.0.8 includes:
- Super Size: This feature from the legacy Borderless Gaming is back. You can enable “Super Size” in your profile, and it will make the game borderless across all your screens.
- Legacy Compatibility Issues: The last of the issues related to legacy compatibility have been resolved, and all functions should now work normally. If you’re still encountering issues that weren’t present in the legacy version, please join the Discord and let me know.
- Advanced Options Checkbox: A checkbox has been added under “Advanced Options” to send a maximize command to a target game. In most cases, you won’t need this, but some games might require it. So, it’s been surfaced from the internals so you can control when it happens. It’s off by default. Games like M.U.G.E.N with the SDL_NoFrame mod I created should now properly go fullscreen.

Borderless Gaming v1.0.7

- Fixes white border along the outside of some games
- Fixes mouse offsets
- Fixes widescreen monitor support

Please let me know if you're still running into problems

Borderless Gaming v1.0.6

Phew! What a sprint this has been. I want to express my gratitude to those who have been patient and understanding that software development is challenging. Providing support for thousands of games, spanning decades and possessing their own unique quirks, is an immense task.

However, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve successfully conquered this task. This update resolves the last remaining bugs in the windowing engine. You no longer need to manually manage your taskbar or customize the positioning of each game with profiles; everything is set and forget.

Games like Minecraft and other titles should now function as expected like they did in legacy, and titles that weren't previously supported in legacy like Dishonored now work great.

If you encounter any other issues, please join the Discord server and ping me so I can address them promptly. You should be able to play with confidence.
Fixes
• Fixed timing issues in the windowing engine - games like Dishonored now work properly (use Custom Size or No Change in profile settings for best results)

 • Various minor bug fixes and stability improvements
New: SDL_NoFrame Proxy
Some older SDL 1.2 based games (like M.U.G.E.N) don't support being converted to borderless windows through normal means. For these stubborn cases, I've created SDL_NoFrame - a proxy library that forces SDL 1.2 games to run borderless natively.

Get it here: https://github.com/andrewmd5/SDL_NoFrame

Only use SDL_NoFrame if Borderless Gaming can't make the SDL 1.2 game borderless on its own. Once SDL_NoFrame has made the game borderless, you can use Borderless Gaming to make it fullscreen.
