Post-PAX South update
Howdy, Sports Fan!
Rick here with a quick update on what's going on with SSDT. I am chipping away at my bug list, adding some minor features, and prepping for launch on a new platform!
I'll have details on the new platform launch soon, but until then, here's a sample of what Windows players can look forward to in the next update:
There will be more fixes as well, and I'll try to get a new achievement into the next update. But with all the fixes coming, I may not be able to wait. More soon!
Rick here with a quick update on what's going on with SSDT. I am chipping away at my bug list, adding some minor features, and prepping for launch on a new platform!
I'll have details on the new platform launch soon, but until then, here's a sample of what Windows players can look forward to in the next update:
- More advanced AI for higher CPU levels in Free-For-All
- No more moon-walking players at the end of a round
- Overtime is now either Sudden Death (default setting), or not Sudden Death (optional). No more hard-to-explain "that one overtime round where you can change characters then another X minutes before Sudden Death kicks in if the scores are still tied"
- CPU players now dunk more reliably (scales with difficulty setting)
- ¡Español! Well, the UI anyway! A fan generously helped out with the Spanish translation of many UI elements. There were some UI adjustments that had to be made to fit some of the text, and some text has to remain in English, at least for now. But hey, it broadens the appeal of the game a bit, and that's good!
- Invisible, but important, Season Mode preparations
There will be more fixes as well, and I'll try to get a new achievement into the next update. But with all the fixes coming, I may not be able to wait. More soon!
