New mount 
 
– A new mount, the Glacial Vaiyuu, is now available. 
 
Bug Fixes 
 
– Resolved an issue that prevented the “Creepy Crawler Portrait Badge” from being obtained from the Mask-A-Raid: 2015 achievement. 
– Resolved an issue that, under certain circumstances, allowed multiple buff abilities to be unintentionally active at the same time.  
 
Miscellaneous 
 
– A new tab for cosmetic wings has been introduced in RIFT’s in-game store.

Fae Yule is back in town, and of course we want to add to the holiday season with our annual collection of fun community activities to wrap this year in style!

That’s right, RIFTmas is back, and with it comes several events and our beloved daily rewards!
Let’s get into the details of our events, shall we?

12 Days of Telara is back, enjoy daily gifts and treats for a total of 12 days!
What are the gifts? You will have to learn that every new day!

Today marks the first day, so you can enjoy a 50% bonus on Player + Guild and Dungeon Currency gains!

🏡RIFTmas Dimension Contest!

It would not be a holiday celebration without a dimension contest in the theme of the holiday spirit!
December’s Dimension contest theme is all about the holiday cheer and the festive atmosphere!

How do I participate?

1. Get into RIFT and pick any of your favorite dimensions
2. Decorate your dimension with the concept of building a cozy and festive dimension, full of holiday cheer!
3. Take one or more screenshots of your creation and submit them to the #RIFTmas-dimension-contest channel on the official RIFT Discord server or use the #RIFTmas2025DimContest hashtag on X or Facebook.
4. Be sure to include Character Name, Shard, Region, and Dimension Name with your entry.
5. You are good to go!

Are there any rules?

1. Feel free to use an existing dimension; however, do note that fresh and new decorations are always encouraged!
2. Your entry must adhere to the contest’s theme.
3. Content that may be inappropriate or offensive is forbidden.
4. Image editing is allowed as long as the entry is vastly visible.
5. Not including a Character Name, Shard, Region, or DImension Name will make you ineligible to receive a reward.

What are the rewards?

The top three (3) participants will receive the following rewards:

1st place – Dimension Contest First Place + 3000 Credits
2nd place – Dimension Contest Second Place + 2000 Credits
3rd place – Dimension Contest Third Place + 1000 Credits

The entry period will conclude on January 7, 2026, 10:59 PM UTC and winners will be announced on January 14, 2026.

📸RIFTmas Snapshot Celebration!

It would not be Fae Yule season without memories you can bring back home with you!
Which is why we are hosting a screenshot contest!

Take a screenshot of your character in your favorite festive location in Telara and win amazing rewards!

How do I participate?

1. Pick your favorite character and grab your favorite attire from your wardrobe.
2. Find a festive location and take that picture!
3. Submit your entry in the #RIFTmas-Snapshot channel on Discord and include your Character Name, Shard, and Region.

Are there any rules?

1. Your entry must be festive!
2. Your entry must not include content that may be inappropriate or offensive.
3. Image editing is allowed, as long as the entry remains visible.
4. Only one character per screenshot will be eligible to receive a reward.

What are the rewards?

Up to six (6) participants will receive 1000 Credits each!

The entry period will conclude on January 7, 2026, 10:59 PM UTC and winners will be announced on January 14, 2026.

Are you ready to welcome back your feathered friends? We sure hope you are because the Budgies are back!

Starting today, complete special daily quests to earn Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged for some great mounts and rewards!

You can find the quest givers in Meridian (/setwaypoint 6122 5231), Sanctum (/setwaypoint 7380 3078), and Tempest Bay (/setwaypoint 12943 11579)!

If you’re heading to the race, here are a few tips and tricks:

✨ Stay within the marked path.
🐦 Hit all the white checkpoints throughout the race.
🚀 Use all the green boosts to increase your speed and leave your opponents behind!
🐌 If you prefer speed over slow, avoid all orange traps!

Remember, a clear mind makes the goal clear. Stay focused, and you too can win the race, Ascended!

Budgie Madness will start on December 5, 2025 and will end on December 8, 2025, 23.59 UTC, so hurry up and collect as many of those feathered cuties as you can!
