We were waiting for a whole year! Now the time has finally come: The Summerfest is back! ⛱️

What is Summerfest? ☀️

You may be wondering about the origins of Summerfest. While some of the history is lost to time, many scholars believe that Summerfest dates back to ancient elven rituals involving burning sacrifices inside wicker figures. Of course, most elves would prefer to forget these barbaric references to their past. In fact, such practices are now forbidden by both High Elves and Kelari alike, although sometimes alluded to by disgruntled Dwarves.



What remains in modern Telara is a celebration of flames for all Ascended to enjoy. Summerfest is now the holiday that marks the longest days of summer in Telara. Ascended continue to celebrate ancient traditions and have fun, even in the sweltering heat. This helps lighten the mood and distract celebrants from the stress of the near-constant threats against Telara.

Take part in our various Summerfest activities, starting on June 28, 2023, at 0:01 AM server time, and earn as much event currency as you can!

What is crawling here? The Hellbugs are back with 6 quests and the reskinned companion!

This CTA will run from today until June 18, 2023, at 23:59 local server time.

You can find terrified NPC’s in Sanctum and Meridian who will request some assistance from you in regards to the Hellbugs who have infiltrated Rift from the long lost Defiance universe.

The daily quests “Burning Sensation” and “Bug Hug” as well as some quests will earn you Chaos Motes, the event currency. These quests are found at the Hellbug Event NPC’s in your character’s capital city.

The Chaos Motes are the event currency you can use either at the Hellbug Merchant found in the game or in the in-game item shop. You can get items such as mounts, companions, and pet skins. You will also find a reskinned companion named Erebos there.

Participating in the event by closing Hellbug Rifts can also earn you some nifty prizes such as Minor XP or 15% Token boosts, Bonus currency, Special Dimension items, Minions, Wardrobe skins, and even mounts!

Discover the Hooves and Horns zone events throughout your journey in Telara and complete them.

Pick up 4 Daily Quests to collect Chaos Motes. You can find the corresponding NPCs in Meridian (/setwaypoint 6122 5231), Sanctum (/setwaypoint 7380 3078) or Tempest Bay (/setwaypoint 12943 11579).

You can obtain wonderfully beautiful unicorns such as the Cotton Candy Unicorn, the Grape Gum Drop Unicorn, the Blue Raspberry Unicorn and so many more!

This CTA will end on Monday, May 29 at 23.59 server time.

Get ready to adopt one of these noble mythical creatures and jump into the game!
