You can accept the Quests for the Mecha Week in Meridian, Sanctum, or Tempest Bay.

Participate in the four Daily Quest and join Warfronts, Expert Dungeon with LFG, collect Mech Components, or join the zone event! Complete all of them to get rewarded in total with 65 Chaos Motes per character daily!



Get the quests Defender of the Elements and join the Event in Vostigar Peaks, Silverwood, Freemarch, Shimmersand, and Stillmoor.

Gather your group and defeat all the Mechs to receive special loot as items & costumes.



Go to the Rift Store to get rewards for Credits or use your collected Chaos Motes at the event NPC to redeem amazing Walker Mounts, Pets, Costumes, and Minions.

With today’s patch, you are warmly awaited to join the returning Season 1 Battle Pass!

In its reworked version, you can progress through 30 levels by completing daily and weekly quests. You can play the Battle Pass for free and be rewarded by various consumable and artifacts.

You can find the Battle Pass on Activities in the category “Battle Pass”.
The Pass is available until August 8, 2022 – 7:00am (server time).
After that date, you will only be able to claim your rewards until August 15, 2022 – 7:00am (server time).

If you wish to participate even more, the Battle Pass will be 6,99$, to give you a chance to unlock even more rewards. You can also get an additional bonus in combination with a Patron Status.

Amongst amazing rewards, an incredibly hot costume set will be obtainable, with a perfectly matching mount:

Level 2: Cosmetic Effect: Flaming Eyes
Level 5: Cosmetic Effect: Hot Feet
Level 13: Cosmetic Effect: Hot Hands
Level 17: Jump Effect: Blast Off!

The cute, colorful, and amazing Budgies are back for two weeks!
It’s time to collect all your Chaos Motes to get lovely rewards like Wardrobe Skins, Pets, Dimension Items, or Mounts!



Pick up four daily quests in the main cities Sanctum, Meridian, or Tempest Bay.

1. Minions of Migration Complete an expert dungeon through Groupfinder (LFG) and get rewarded with 15 Chaos Motes!

2. Birds of a Feather Train Together Press K to open the PvP window and queue up for a Warfront, win it and get rewarded with 15 Chaos Motes!

3. Off to the Races Pick up the quest for the Budgie race and complete it to be rewarded with 15 Chaos Motes!

4. For the Birds In Silverwood, Freemarch, Shimmersand, Stillmoor, and Vostigar Peaks will be a Special Budgie Zone Event called ‘The Birds’. Complete the Event and get rewarded with 15 Chaos Motes.

Grab your Carnival Mask and get ready to celebrate 11 years with us on RIFT.
Beautiful decorations await you in all major cities! Go on weekly or daily quests within the next four weeks and get rewarded with Loot Bags, Mounts, and more! You can also collect Carnival Prize Tickets. These tickets are awarded for completing a Carnival Game. They can be redeemed in the World Event section of the RIFT Store for special prizes.

Weekly Quest

Talk to Dantwor Honey-Tongue at the docks in Tempest Bay to accept the weekly quest called “Clean House at the Carnival”. You need to complete 50 Carnival mini-games and will be rewarded with 2 Auroral Doubloons that can be exchanged in the Carnival shop for other rewards and one Carnival Celebration Crate.


Mini Games

There are various repeatable mini-games such as the very popular Balloon Stomp. If you want to play it please refer to the Balloon Jumping Etiquette.


Daily Quests

Among other activities, you can take part in daily quests like Frog Wrangling or visit Sijay Creg in your home city for additional quests to complete 5 Carnival Instant Adventures.

Today’s patch consisted of the Hellbug CTA with 6 new quests and a reskinned companion. This will run from today until February 7, 2022 at 23:59 local server time.

You can find terrified NPC’s in Sanctum and Meridian who will request some assistance from you in regards to the Hellbugs who have infiltrated Rift from the long lost Defiance universe.

The daily quests “Burning Sensation” and “Bug Hug” as well as some new quests will earn you Chaos Motes, the event currency. These quests are found at the Hellbug Event NPC’s in your characters capital city.

The Chaos Motes are the event currency which you can use either at the Hellbug Merchant found in game or in the in-game itemshop. You can get items such as mounts, companions, pet skins. You will also find a newly reskinned companion named Erebos there.

Participating in the event by closing Hellbug Rifts can also earn you some nifty prizes such as Minor XP or 15% Token boosts, Bonus currency, Special Dimension items, Minions, Wardrobe skins, and even mounts!
