Call-to-Action Event

From Friday, September 18, 2020 beginning at midnight server time until Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 11:59pm server time, Hellbugs from Defiance 2050 will invade RIFT! During this limited-time event, Hellbug Rifts will spawn more frequently throughout Telara.

Participating in this Call to Action event can net you some unique prizes. Completing these Hellbug Rifts have a chance to award you:

• Minor XP or Token Boosts (15%)
• Bonus Currency
• Special Dimension Items
• Minions
• Wardrobe Skin Items & Bundles
• Special Mounts

Note that zone events use personal loot Individual Reward Charges. Players get two free rolls per zone per day, after that, they are charged.

Call to Action: Mech is back! The excitement and electricity is in the air until September 6! Test your strength against the mechs and earn amazing items!

The following two mounts will be available in the Store:

• Faewood Infinity Walker
• Red & Silver Empyreal Walker

Collect enough Chaos Motes for special Walkers – this event runs from September 4 (starting at 12am server time) to September 6 (ending at 11:59pm server time), 2020. As with other World Events, there will be a quest starter in each home city. You’ll be asked to run an Expert Dungeon with LFG, participate in Warfronts, complete the Mech Zone Event, and collect drops from special Mech Invasions and Footholds!

• Golden Empyreal Walker
• Infinity Walker

In addition to the clanking wonders, you can earn:

The fifth season will be live from Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 4:30pm server time, until October 29, 2020 at 4:30pm server time.

NEW

Daily Quests

• Players will now receive the following quests every 24h:
1x 'Random Dungeon Victory': Complete a random Expert Dungeon
3x Random Daily Quests (+2x dailies for Patron subscribers)
Rerolling daily quests will not grant the 'Random Dungeon Victory' quest. The daily Random Warfront will no longer be requested as a mandatory quest but can appear as a random daily.

New Currency: Expertise Shards

• The Concentrated Expertise Caches awarded for completing Battle Pass quests now include a new currency, the Expertise Shards.
• A new merchant NPC has appeared in The Canals of Tempest Bay! Huckster Ratioskr will trade Expertise Shards for rewards from previous seasons.
• Daily Quests will grant 1 Expertise Shard and Weekly Quests will grant 5 Expertise Shards.


IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES

• NPC - Added items from BP Seasons 1-5 to the Huckster Ratioskr shop.
• Quests - Daily Random Warfront quest is no longer appearing daily by default. Instead, a random daily quest is offered.
• Quests - Anomaly Tamer weekly quest now requires 14 BP quests completed instead of 20.
• Quests - Added BP Crafting quests in daily and weekly versions that progress whenever the crafting work order quests are completed.
• Quests - Removed BP Dimension quests that were requesting to place/pick items from dimensions.


REMINDER

• After the Battle Pass Season is over, players will have 7 days to claim all pending rewards. During this time, players can acquire the Battle Pass and claim all regular tier
rewards.

Earn Chaos Motes by finishing special daily quests! The Questgivers can be found in Meridian, Sanctum and Tempest Bay.


Get your riding boots and prepare for the ride of your life! Join the Budgie Races and earn yourself your own feathery friend!
Some seasoned professionals may be out on that race track, so here are some tips to be the just like them:

• Stay within the marked path!
• White checkpoints need to be hit throughout the race.
• Make sure to make it to the Green boosts first to receive Terminal Velocity to make your opponents eat your dust.
• Avoid Orange Traps, they’ll only slow you down!

Stock up as many Chaos Motes as possible and trade them in for mounts and pets!


Budgie Madness will start on Friday, August 21, at 12am Server Time, and end on Sunday, August 23, at 11:59pm Server Time.
