Hello, Ascended!
Summer is here and we can feel the warmth across Telara!
While you enjoy Summerfest, take a moment to create your ideal summer dimension with the Bright Summer Dimension Contest!

How do I participate?

1. Get into RIFT and pick your favorite dimension.
2. Decorate your dimension to fit the theme of your perfect summer house!
3. Take one or more screenshots of your dimension and submit them to the #bright-summer channel on Discord or use the #RIFTBrightSummer2024 hashtag on X (formerly known as Twitter) or Facebook.
4. Include your Character Name, Shard and Region.
5. You are good to go!

Are there any rules?

1. Feel free to use an existing dimension, but fresh decorations are encouraged!
2. Your entry must adhere to the theme of summer.
3. Inappropriate or offensive content is strictly forbidden.
4. Image editing is allowed, as long as your entry remains visible.
5. Not including Character, Shard and Region will make you ineligible to receive a reward.

What are the rewards?

The top three (3) participants will receive the following rewards:

1st Place – Dimension Contest First Place + 3000 Credits
2nd Place – Dimension Contest Second Place + 3000 Credits
3rd Place – Dimension Contest Third Place + 3000 Credits

The entry period will close on July 31, 2024, 22:59 UTC and winners will be announced on August 7, 2024.

It’s been an entire year, but now it is finally time, Summerfest is back!

What is Summerfest?

The origins of Summerfest are shrouded in mystery, but many scholars trace it back to ancient elven rituals involving burning sacrifices inside wicker figures. Today, most elves prefer to forget these barbaric aspects of their past, and such practices are now forbidden by both High Elves and Kelari, though occasionally referenced by disgruntled Dwarves.

In modern Telara, Summerfest has evolved into a celebration of flames for all Ascended to enjoy. This holiday marks the longest days of summer and continues ancient traditions with a focus on fun, even in the sweltering heat. These festivities help lighten the mood and provide a distraction from the near-constant threats against Telara.

Activities aplenty!

But aside from its intriguing history, Summerfest has plenty of activities for you to enjoy, such as Scavenger Hunts, Swarmlord Khargroth Battles, Seasonal Quests, Artifact Pinatas and much more!

Don’t hesitate Ascended, the Summerfest will pack up and leave on July 24, 2024, and its store will remain available until July 31, 2024, for all the Ascended who did not have quite enough time to buy all the gifts they wanted!

Grab your friends, your best sword and your strongest spells and jump into the fray!

The Hellbug Call To Action starts on June 21, 2024, and will end on June 24, 2024.
During this time, several daily quests will be available from NPCs in Meridian (/setwaypoint 6173 5224) and Sanctum (/setwaypoint 7380 3078), completing these quest will grant you Chaos Motes which you can use to earn amazing rewards and mounts!

Starting today, complete special daily quests to earn Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged for some great mounts and rewards!

You can find the quest givers in Meridian (/setwaypoint 6122 5231), Sanctum (/setwaypoint 7380 3078), and Tempest Bay (/setwaypoint 12943 11579)!

If you’re heading to the race, here are a few tips and tricks:

✨ Stay within the marked path.
🐦 Hit all the white checkpoints throughout the race.
🚀 Use all the green boosts to increase your speed and leave your opponents behind!
🐌 If you prefer speed over slow, avoid all orange traps!
