FF14 director Yoshida is ready to fix the MMO's difficulty problem, starting now

New Final Fantasy 14 deep dungeon Pilgrim's Traverse is set to be a landmark moment for the long-running MMORPG. Game director Naoki Yoshida introduced the feature, which will arrive in FF14 patch 7.35, as an experiment to test "a few things we want to change with FF14 overall." A big part of this is finding ways to make more content appealing to a wider range of players, so where else could we see this introduced? At Gamescom, we sat down with 'Yoshi-P' himself to discuss the upcoming variant dungeon, ultimate raid, and when we'll finally see the Beastmaster limited job.
