Patch 6.55 Notes



With the conflict in the Thirteenth at an end and Dawntrail on the horizon, the Warrior of Light takes their first steps toward a new adventure.

Patch 6.55 also brings more to explore in the realms of Endwalker, including a new trial, tribal alliance quests, and the continuation of Tataru's Grand Endeavor, Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures, and the Manderville weapon series!

FF14 6.55 patch notes add last Endwalker quest, brand new backpack

The FF14 6.55 patch notes are finally here, as we've only got a few hours left until the servers come back online and we finally get our first foray into what Dawntrail will offer us later this year. You'll meet the internet's new favorite NPC and the first female Hrothgar Wuk Lamat in the Endwalker patch MSQ, see some of the best side characters in new side quests, and even be able to get a backpack accessory too.

The latest IAS Game Maker's Notebook Podcast (embedded in the full article below) is a chat between Sony's head of independent development Shuhei Yoshida and Square Enix producer, designer and director Naoki Yoshida, one of the big fish behind Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 16. In a lengthy discussion of the latter game, the two Yoshidas chew over the familiar topic of where Final Fantasy should go next. According to Naoki Yoshida, it might be time for an injection of new blood.
