The Game Awards decided to hold their gala on the same day. We don’t want you to have to choose between our little point-and-click adventure and a bunch of flashy (and very expensive) announcements.[/p][p]So here’s the good news: the game is coming earlier than planned. With an evocative retro style, players will delve into a mysterious abbey where nothing is what it seems.[/p][p]In this first installment of the Scholar Adventure saga, we follow William, a young writer in search of inspiration for his first work. His journey leads him to an isolated abbey whose monks have taken a vow of silence. What begins as a simple literary quest, soon turns into a disturbing mystery: hidden within the monastery’s walls lies a secret that should never have been revealed.[/p][p]Developed with PowerQuest, the tool behind recent hits such as The Drifter, and inspired by 1990s graphic adventures, Mystery of Silence combines dark, detailed pixel art with a narrative laced with dark humor. Players will explore environments shrouded in mystery, solve clever puzzles, and use items to uncover the secrets the abbey hides.[/p][p]With a duration of between 2 and 3 hours, the game offers a focused, intense experience that will keep players glued to the screen until the final secret is unearthed.
