The results of the community vote are in!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the vote! There were 90 responses this time!

There was also a 2 way tie for 5th place, so both got the prize.

[h2]Halloween 2023 Events! - Ongoing[/h2]



Our Halloween events for 2023 are ongoing!

Today we released a small hotfix fixing some small bugs, as well as adding a new music track to Dark Voyage and some small gameplay changes with the Boardwalk games.

Johanna worked on getting the Bumper Cars ready for the Boardwalk, as well as working on other future games.

macdguy worked on fixing up bugs to be released in the hotfix.

Joshua continued working on overhauling the player model skeleton rig, working on a system for the legacy models to work with the skeleton, as well as porting the animations over to the new rig.

Nuclearxpotato worked on some upcoming items.

Sketchman continued working on backend optimizations, as well as fixing up old achievement icons and making new ones for upcoming maps.

Will continued working on music for Containership and Eruption.

This update addresses several bugs from the new update.

  • Dark Voyage: New Hell music track by Will
  • Boardwalk - Milk Jug Toss: Reduced payouts a little bit (10% decrease)
  • Boardwalk - Balloon Pop: Decreased game start wait time from 10 seconds to 4 seconds
  • Arcade - Meteoroid Mania: Added another meteoroid ball


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed names not always showing on server lists/condo list
  • Boardwalk: Added measures to prevent griefing
  • Boardwalk - Splash Blasterz: Fixed water effects not showing up on low effects setting
  • Boardwalk - Milk Jug Toss: Fixed milk jugs being counted twice sometimes
  • Condo: Fixed Dragon Egg not finishing opening animations when the dragon is revealed to be a Shadow Dragon
  • Condo: Fixed Hidden Seat not having edit option

Our Halloween events for 2023 are ongoing! Last week, we released the second phase of the Halloween events, which brought with it the new Boardwalk Carnival with 4 mini-games, some new items, and more. You can read all about that update here.

Johanna finished working on the art for the Boardwalk Carnival.

macdguy released the Boardwalk Carnival and worked on fixing issues that arose with the initial release.

Wheezwer worked on art for the upcoming boardwalk attractions.

Lifeless worked on a new Ball Race map, Eruption. All the basic level design has been completed, and he is currently working on art.

Boardwalk Carnival Expansion / Halloween Part 2 (0.17.3.0)

THE BOARDWALK CARNIVAL IS HERE!




We have some surprises for you to kick off this Halloween! This update introduces the Boardwalk Carnival Expansion, which comes with 4 new mini-games that you can play directly in the Plaza!



Boardwalk Games

The boardwalk has been renovated to accommodate 4 new mini-games! Play these games to earn Boardwalk tickets! You can spend these at the prize counter in the Arcade. The new games are:

Roll and Race
Roll the balls into the holes and score points to move your racing-seahorse along the track faster! Aim for the blue holes for extra speed, and beat the other rollers to the finish line! It has space for 8 players to compete against one another.

Milk Jug Toss
It’s the one game where you won’t cry over spilled milk! Try to knock as many jugs off the platform as you can with the balls given to you. You get 2 throws, so make them count! It has space for 5 players to play at the same time.

Balloon Pop
It’s the most poppin’ game on the boardwalk! Pop all the balloons before the time runs out. With support for up to 2 players, grab a friend to make it easier!

Splash Blasterz
Grab a cannon and fill the water tank up as fast as possible! Stay on target to fill the tank faster! It has space for 8 players to compete against one another.



Along with the new boardwalk games, you can play Super Hoopers and Pluck-A-Pal right on the boardwalk now!

Franky’s Grill also has a nice new location with seating right next to the action!

This Halloween weekend we are also hosting the Dark Co-Op events. During this event, Dark Voyage and Zombie Massacre has a 1.5x Unit and EXP boost.

We're currently working on the second phase of this update, including new items and Boardwalk games.

macdguy finished the game code for the upcoming boardwalk attractions, as well as working on items.

Wheezwer worked on art for the upcoming boardwalk attractions.
