Hello everyone, and welcome to the Weekly Dev Log for July 17th, 2023, detailing all the changes that have happened since July 10th, 2023. [h2]June/July 2023 Condo Contest (Aquarium) - OVER[/h2]

The results of the community vote are in!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the vote. There were 53 responses this time!

Johanna finished the bowling dispenser model for the Bowling Super Weapon, worked on a new TNT model, and touched up other models.

Joshua worked on the laser saber as well as other weapons.

Lifeless continued working on "Containership".

macdguy finished the last of the super weapons, finished the intermission screen, worked on a bunch of different kill effects (burning, dissolving, etc), worked on teleporters, destructable items, and a new networking system.

Nuclearxpotato continued working on maps.

Sketchman worked on achievement icons for SDNL.

Will continued working on music.

[h2]June/July 2023 Condo Contest (Aquarium) - ONGOING[/h2]



Hey everyone!

For June and July the theme for the Condo Contest will be Aquarium!

Your goal will be to build an aquarium (or any other sort of fish habitat), and you can use whatever you would like to do so. Remember that Aquarium Volumes can be purchased at D.I.Y.!

The submission period ends on July 10th, 2023 at 11:59 PM.

Be sure to look at the prizes and follow the rules below!

And don't forget: You can upload your entry to the Steam Workshop for everyone to get a better look at it! If you upload your entry to Workshop, you're welcome to share the link in your post! :)

Johanna finished texturing and baking the new crossbow model.

Lifeless continued working on "Containership".

macdguy continued working on weapons, adding fx to the Shield, created the Laser Rifle and Sniper, added a HUD for the Magnum Laser, worked on the assault shotgun, created physical shells and bullet casings that fall when guns are fired, and finished the UZIs. He also made touchups to the weapon pickups, finished the kill cam, mutator system, and the "gun game" mode logic, and finished the "Bowling Shotgun" and "Cannon" superweapons.

Nuclearxpotato continued working on maps.

Wheezwer worked on designs for a weapon.

Will continued working on music.

Hot Fix for 0.16.11.0

This update addresses issues from the new update.

Changes
  • Improved rocket jumping prediction and fixed rocket jumps going through walls
  • Arcade: Removed the bonus activator ring feature to Dragon's Treasure, making it easier to get the bonus wheel spin
  • Condo: Added Diamond Glass, TV Static, Radioactive Sludge, and Simple Tile Floor materials to the Condo materials
  • Condo: Renamed "Allow Magic Trampoline" permission to "Allow Movement Items"
  • Condo: Ice Potion now disables if "Allow Movement Items" permission is disabled
  • Condo: Umbrella now disables if "Allow Movement Items" permission is disabled
  • Condo: Ghost floating now disables if "Allow Movement Items" permission is disabled
  • Adjusted Minigame Air Dash velocity


Bug Fixes
  • Condo: Fixed Media Players not always establishing a connection with other Media Players
  • Condo: Fixed Custom Spawn Point not working in Art Studio Condo
  • Condo: Fixed Custom Spawn Point not activating when placed on an item directly
  • Condo: Fixed Security Cameras rendering even when not on the current channel of a media player
  • Condo: Fixed Canvas Screen emissive default
  • Condo: Fixed Libretro Arcades not animating their idlescreens
  • Condo: Fixed Laser Projector, Fog Machine, and Bubble Machine not being togglable with IO
  • Condo: Fixed Media Players not rendering frames if the root media player is far away or not in view
  • Arcade: Fixed Dragon's Treasure treasures not always counting when they fall into the collection area
  • Fixed workshop editor player animation preview not working
