Demo update - Tutorials, revamped gas station, bug fixes, and more

[p][/p][p]Hi guys, we’ve just pushed an update to the demo live based on your reviews and feedback. We hear you loud and clear and have been hard at work to address a lot of the issues you’ve brought up. All while fixing a ton of bugs! Here’s the main areas of the game we’ve worked on: [/p][p][/p][p]Tutorial & Objectives[/p][p]We’ve received a lot of feedback from players who aren’t sure what to do in the game or how some systems work.  You’ll now find screens just inside the mansion explaining how things like haunts, pants, and dying / respawning work. We’ve also updated the HUD to always indicate your next objective, and added a ton of small improvements to UX and UI.  [/p][p][/p][p]Mechanical Changes to Kicks, Food, and Farts[/p][p]A number of changes have been made to some key mechanics in the game for a better experience. Kicking things is now much smoother, and acts as a 3-kick combo. Eating food now decreases your poop meter. Holding farts no longer hurts you / fills your meter with poop. [/p][p][/p][p]New and Updated Items[/p][p]We’ve updated some items, and added a ton more: A jar you can fart into to create a grenade, a spray bottle to clean soiled pants, a corpse bag you can carry your dried turd friend around in, and more. Jump back in to find them all and see how they work![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Difficulty Balancing[/p][p]Another pain point has been the game’s difficulty, so we’ve tweaked and balanced things out a bit. In particular, the game now adapts difficulty during a haunt based on how many players are in the same room. This should help in situations where your group gets split up when the house gets angry. [/p][p][/p][p]Revamped Gas Station[/p][p]The first stop on your road trip has changed a ton! You can now customize your character item by item in the bathroom. It’s also now a hub where you can buy items to bring into the mansion with coins. This is a big part of the broader game loop we are building, and you’ll be seeing more of that in future updates![/p][p][/p][p]Bug Fixes[/p][p]Y’all found a lot of bugs, and we’ve squashed most of them. Of course, there may be more or even some new ones, so please keep flagging them. [/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all for all checking out our demo and all the feedback you’ve shared. Please keep it coming here on Steam and in our Discord server.  If you’ve left a review on the demo already, we’d love for you to try it out again and, if you find the experience improved, consider updating your review.  [/p][p][/p][p]We'll keep exploring ways to improve the game and address feedback. Looking ahead, we’ll have a bunch of new content and fixes coming to the demo for Steam Next Fest later this month, so stay tuned!

Introducing: WE GOTTA GO!

[p][/p][p]Hi everyone, today’s announcement is a little different![/p][p][/p][p]With Lynked: Banner of the Spark now fully launched across all platforms, our team has been able to shift focus and put creative energy into something fresh. FuzzyBot was founded by ex-AAA developers who wanted to break out of the mold of what we were building inside big studios. After years of creating heavier, more serious projects—including a cozy roguelite—we felt it was time for something lighter, faster, and a little sillier.[/p][p][/p][p]What started as a  joke in the office (“what if you had to sprint through a haunted mansion to find the bathroom?”) somehow picked up more momentum than any of our bigger, “serious” ideas. Between late nights squashing bugs for Lynked, it became the game we couldn’t stop laughing about. And now it’s our next project.[/p][p][/p][p]We Gotta Go is a spooky, lighthearted co-op game where you and your friends speed through a haunted mansion to find the bathroom before the ghosts scare the S#!T out of you. Inspired by our shared (and yes, embarrassing) experiences, it’s fast, frantic, and built to play—and laugh—together.[/p][p][/p][p]While it’s very different from Lynked: Banner of the Spark, this new project still carries that same vibrant, cartoonishly charming spirit we love—just with a more…human twist. We can’t wait to share more soon, and we’re aiming to have something fun for players to try out this Halloween.[/p][p][/p][p]We’d like to thank everyone who’s supported us and been part of the Lynked community in any way. We truly wouldn’t be here without you. [/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, don’t forget to: [/p][p]👥 Join our new Discord community to follow our development journey, hop into early playtests, and share feedback! [/p][p]🎮 Follow & wishlist the game here on Steam! [/p]
