After the war with the dwarves began, helmets began to be remade into military helmets to protect their heads not only from protruding stones, but also from blows from dwarven swords. When the war ended, the need for helmets disappeared. However, the kobolds did not abandon them, since they turned out to be better than the old helmets. They only added a special place for candles, as it was in peacetime.
