Victor Novak's Key
One of the first items that Victor Novak created was an unusual key. Regular keys were only good for tightening bolts. If runes were inscribed on the mechanism or magical items were used, the keys would be destroyed.
Then Victor remade one of them, adding runes and a magic crystal. The inventor also expanded the capabilities of the tool, allowing it to grow or shrink. All this led to the key becoming not just a tool, but also a weapon.
One day, Victor was returning home and was attacked by a squad of demons. They wanted to destroy Novak and take away his technology. But Victor got the key and with its help was able to cast several simple knockback spells and destroy the demons.
Rumors about Victor's incredible device quickly spread throughout Erikuria and many wanted to get their hands on the unusual key. But the scientist was adamant and did not make a single copy of his unusual device. He believed that people would use his device to harm each other, and he could not allow science to be used against humanity.
