The Legend of Lopa

Demons also had a hand in the legend of Sinek Klamus. They said that they sent entire expeditions to the north to find the gnome, and some succeeded. The demons claimed that they reached the snowy estate of Sinek Klamus, and saw not only a bear, but also a snowman, whom the gnome calls Lopa.

These "witnesses of Klamus" claim that the gnome saved them from the cold, invited them to his place, and Lopa poured them tea. At the same time, Sinek himself shared a story about the creation of the snowman: allegedly his snow servant simply stood at the entrance as a statue, and Kili the Brown brought him to life with the help of a potion.

Of course, no one believes them. After all, how can you believe that someone got so far north? But some children say that they heard in the house not only the clatter of Sinek Klamus' boots, but also the crunch of snow, and in the morning they found small puddles on the floor.

The Story of Kili the Brown

Human legends about Sinek Klamus mention a boy named Kili the Brown. From early childhood, he wanted to become an alchemist, but curiosity played a cruel joke on him.

Kili really wanted to grow up quickly so that some famous alchemist would take him as an apprentice. In an ancient tome, he found a recipe for an aging potion, but mixed the ingredients incorrectly, which is why he turned into a bear.

Kili tried to call for help, but everyone heard only a bear's roar and ran away in horror. Even his parents. So the boy had to run as far away from people as possible. He tried to get to the demons so that they could use their magic to return him to his true form, but the horned ones decided to start hunting him. So Kili went north.

There he met Sinek Klamus, who was not afraid of the young alchemist. On the contrary, he found a suitable place for the boy, where he could make toys move with the help of alchemy. So if you got a moving toy as a gift, know that it was the work of the boy Kili.

Try on the Klamus cap!

Nobody knows what Sinek Klamus looked like. The legends only contain partial descriptions of his appearance, and the few witnesses always added something of their own.

However, everyone agrees on a few things: Sinek has a lush white beard and a cap with a snowflake on the end. Some wizards claimed that this snowflake protects Klamus from the cold, so they tried to create something similar.

Of course, they failed. Their caps only repeat the appearance, but do not protect from the winter cold. Nevertheless, such caps sold very well, because many demons, people, elves and gnomes wanted to congratulate their children and tried on Sinek Klamus's outfit.
