The Story of the Risen

Amanda Nix conducted various experiments with white blood to improve its properties. The day before turning into a monster, she exposed white blood to necrotic magic and ice magic. The girl wanted to defeat death in this way, so she used it on the remains of her dead son.

The result exceeded all expectations. The bones came to life and began to serve their mistress. Amanda was sad that her son did not return. However, she decided that since she was able to revive the bones, she could thus defeat death. Therefore, she gathered the top of the order and decided to grant everyone immortality.

Unfortunately, this did not work out and everyone who took such white blood turned into monsters, who were then hunted. The Risen remained in the estate where the ritual was held. To this day, he is waiting for the return of his mistress to continue serving her.

Secrets of the Thunder Bat

Thunder Bats are common bats that hide in caves in Erikuria and lead a predominantly nocturnal lifestyle. Their white blood can absorb magic, heal wounds and cure diseases. This is all that was written in the diary of the demon Rakshasa, who first discovered the bats in the caves of Erikuria during one of the horned ones' forays into the lands of people.

The demon took several individuals with him and studied their blood for a long time, subjecting it to magical effects. He tested all the properties of white blood on human test subjects and himself.

One day, he tried to expose white blood to necrotic magic and ice magic at once. He gave the resulting blood to a person to drink, and the person turned into a monster that almost killed the demon. Rakshasa realized that his research was dangerous, so he tore out all the pages describing his experiments from the diary and burned them. Only a brief description of the bats themselves remained.

A few years later, the demon died, and his diary fell into the hands of human soldiers who had infiltrated the demons' territory. They understood nothing of it, so when they returned to Erikuria, they gave it to the library. A hundred years later, Amanda Nix found the diary and learned about the unusual bats. Who knows, maybe if the demon had not torn out the pages from the diary, the white blood crisis could have been avoided.

At the council, where the decision was made to create the order of hunters, the king was furious. The aristocrats told him where the monsters came from, so the sovereign was ready to execute them. But at that moment, the monsters attacked the council hall.

The knights quickly fell from the sharp claws of the monsters and began to turn into monsters. Those who had previously been part of the "White Blood" order began to protect the king. The ruler saw that the aristocrats did not turn into monsters from the wounds they received, which meant they could be used to fight the monsters.

The defenders did not have swords with them, so they protected the king with improvised means: candelabra, chairs, plates. Together they retreated to the courtyard, trying to break through to the armory, but the monsters surrounded them. Then Count Nathan North tore the wheel off the cart with provisions. With its help, he destroyed the monsters and saved the king.

After that, the king agreed to create an order of monster hunters and even took white blood himself to gain immunity. He appointed Nathan North as the leader of the order. The Count agreed and began to lead the cleansing of the kingdom from monsters. He used the same cart wheel as a weapon.

What the Hunter's Hat Will Tell

After the top of the White Blood Order turned into monsters, panic began in Erikuria. Monsters that the Sphere had never seen before began to attack people and turn them into their own kind. To stop this, the king declared a state of emergency in Erikuria, forbade people from leaving their homes, and called a council to find a way out of the crisis.

The council was attended by aristocrats who were members of the White Blood Order. Because they had previously participated in rituals, monster bites did not work on them. Therefore, they proposed to the king to found an order of monster hunters. Its members pledged not to conduct sophisticated rituals with white blood, but to use it only to heal wounds and gain immunity from monsters.

The hallmark of the hunters was to be the hats that the aristocrats wore, and the masks that previously hid the faces of the followers of the White Blood Order.

The king agreed to this and selected the best fighters to become the basis of the new order. The monster hunters managed to destroy almost all the creatures of white blood, and drove some into deep caves from where they do not come out. After a successful hunt, they became ordinary knights. But if monsters appear in Erikuria again, they will take out their hats and challenge the monsters again.
