Possible Soft Lock Fix

Hi folks!

Thank you all for playing Birds Watching and for sending us feedback!

This patch might solve the soft block that occurs whenever you put on feathers and do other transformation steps. Although many people are encountering this bug we haven't been able to reproduce it internally yet so we don't know if this patch will actually fix it, but if it does then hooray (?)

If you do encounter this bug be sure to report it to us with as many info as you can so we can do a better attempt at fixing it.

BIRDS WATCHING is out now!

[p]Hello there Birders![/p][p][/p][p]We're finally ready to fly: Birds Watching, the first birding horror game set in the Italian Alps, is out now on Steam.[/p][p]Buy it, play it, leave a review, and let us know what you think (it's discounted for launch ohoh).[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Birds Watching wasn't an easy game to make. We'll share a more in-depth post on our newsletter and here on Steam later this month about the full development cycle, but we wanted to say a few words now.[/p][p][/p][p]The biggest challenge was Loan Shark. Funny, isn't it? We felt compelled to make a game as good as Loan Shark, even though rationally we knew that the stars wouldn't most likely align twice in a row. It wasn't stressful but it was tiring, and it took longer than we expected.[/p][p][/p][p]And yet here we are: release day. We're proud of what we made and know that, whatever the result will be, we like our game. It's only the second step of a much longer journey here on Steam, so we don't want to put too much pressure on these poor birds.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanking time now![/p][p]Thanks to all the players who supported us with their feedback and their dedication.[/p][p]Thanks to our friends, who among other things supported us by playing Deadlock after work. [/p][p]Thanks to our families, who tolerated us talking Birds Watching all the time.[/p][p][/p][p]Let's fly![/p]

Birds Watching releases on March 6, 2026.

[p]Hi folks![/p][p][/p]

Birds Watching launches on March 6, 2026.
[p]This is a short, narrative-driven horror experience where you play as the last human on Earth, long after the planet has burned to ashes.[/p][p][/p][p]The air still tastes of smoke. You spend your days on a lonely mountain, watching birds, the only creatures that survived the fire. Observing them becomes routine. Comforting, even.[/p][p][/p][p]But something isn’t right.[/p][p]Because you’re no longer alone up there.[/p][p][/p]

Our First Trailer Is Here
[p]We’ve also released our very first trailer. Take a look below![/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p]
Try the demo

[p]You can Try the Demo Now! We’d love to hear your thoughts, your feedback helps us make the final experience even stronger.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for following the project and supporting us.
Wishlist the game, try the demo, and let us know what you think![/p][p]See you on the mountain.[/p]
