Star Dice Dev Log – Version v0.0.28

[p]After the Playtest release, I received a lot of interesting suggestions.[/p][p]I’m slowly going through them while planning the future development direction.[/p][p]This is the first content update, focusing mainly on Destiny effects.[/p][p]All previously “purely negative” Destiny effects have been adjusted.[/p][p]They are now changed into “unknown outcome” effects — meaning their results may be good or bad depending on the player’s situation.[/p][p]There are also updates to display and descriptions to make the game clearer.[/p][p][/p][p]Update Notes[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted several Destiny keywords.[/p]
  • [p]Added corresponding dice and keyword display during Destiny activation.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the pause time at the end of Destiny execution, giving players more time to confirm the result.[/p]
  • [p]Updated the start screen: settings moved to the main button area, with new hover tooltips.[/p]
  • [p]Added explanation that elemental dice in Resonance will now trigger relic fusion simultaneously.[/p]
  • [p]Resonance cost changed from increasing by 5 Star coin each time to 2 Star coin.[/p]

A roguelike slot machine with dice? Just launched Star Dice !

[p]I’m developing Star Dice – a weird little roguelike where you roll dice like a slot machine 🎰🎲[/p][p]
Each spin gives you 9 dice in a 3x3 grid. Match patterns to score, then customize dice faces and unlock relics to create broken combos.[/p][p]Core features:[/p][p]* Slot machine + Dice fusion mechanics[/p][p]* Dice face modification system[/p][p]* 100+ relics to build insane synergies[/p][p]* Branching paths and score-based progression[/p][p]Would love feedback or ideas – what kind of relic/dice mechanics would YOU try in a system like this?[/p][p][/p]
