22nd January - Playtest Updates & Bugfixes

[p]Driveable Vehicles[/p][p]There has been some confusion over which Vehicles are driveable.[/p][p]There are currently Campervans in-game that are driveable and are located at gas stations during playtest[/p][p]Not to be confused with Caravans located at Campsites[/p][p]Increased Vehicle Max Speed to 69-70 kmph[/p][p][/p][p]Bug Fixes[/p][p]Fixed Campervan ejecting driver and destroying when Fuel reached "0" Zero[/p][p]This was only meant to happen when driving into water, added an additional check to ensure it doesn't happen when driving and not in Water[/p][p]Fixed a collision issue with Storage Chest when placed, player was able to fall through or stand inside chest and get stuck[/p][p]Fixed Material displaying for Driveable Campervan Storage[/p][p][/p][p]Game Changes[/p][p]Fixed Locked door sound playing after lockpicked, now only plays open and close sounds when unlocked[/p][p]Added Unlocked Notification Sound when successfully picking a lock[/p][p](Lockpicks currently have infinite durability. [p]Vehicles[/p][p]Fixed Players not able to exit vehicle. New volume added to level was blocking exit positions, emergency patch for game-breaking bug
[/p][p]Crafting[/p][p]Reduced all crafting timers to 1s per craft. There was sometimes an issue when tabbing out or opening/closing inventory during craft time that would cancel the craft.[/p][p]30s-1min on some crafts was taking far too long, so the craft time has been standardized to 1s per craft for all crafts and almost instant.

January 2026 - Playtest #2

[p]Today we have opened Swanfield Survival to Playtest #2 to test game systems, updates and gather feedback to generate interest in the game as we approach Early Access.[/p][p][/p][p]The game version is the current build, so what you see during the Playtest is the game in it's current state of development.[/p][p][/p][p]You will likely encounter bugs, and we encourage feedback and suggestions to improve the game going forward,[/p][p][/p][p]Please join the game Discord from the link below and join the growing community

Playtest Ending - Friday 26th September

[p]Thank you to everyone that's taken part in the latest Playtest over the past 2 weeks.

From initial testing, we have gatherered enough information from server logs. feedback and bug reports to improve and develop the game further.

The Playtest will be deactivated on Friday 26th September, and we will make further announcements in the game discord and social media channels as development progresses.
