A new challenge to managing your clinic: biohazardous waste

Your Town Center is flourishing, but as the city grows, the need for emergency medical care grows with it. Fortunately, you and your business partners have the wherewithal to build a clinic to help those in need of more than first aid. You quickly get a pre-admissions facility built to help process and route the different cases into the appropriate queues.

This is your Clinic! Build it however you like to give patients the care they need, so you can make your Clinic the most popular one in town!

The Biohazard Expansion has been added to Tabletopia, which designer Alban Viard describes: "To conclude the Clinic: Deluxe Edition series, I wanted to focus on the disposal and recycling of all the refuse produced when patients are treated. This final, lone expansion is compatible with all expansions, because it merely depends on having nurses and orderlies, which are part of the base game! If you can include Janitors from The Extension, you can experience my full vision. I know the janitors already have a lot of challenging work, but as CEO of my own game, I am now adding a new role to their job description: They must tend to biohazards!"

Build the most appealing routes for the laziest passengers in the world.

In On the Underground: Paris/New York, players build the Paris Métro lines or the New York City Subway lines. Each player controls 2-4 different lines, depending on the number of players.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
On each turn, four destination cards are available, corresponding to stations on the map. You can take up to four actions; an action is either building track by placing one of your track tokens on the board or taking a branch token. A player may use two branch tokens to branch out of an existing line (whereas normally lines can be extended only at the endpoints). After each player's turn, a passenger token is moved along players' lines, avoiding walking as much as possible, to reach one or two destinations determined at the beginning of the turn. Destination cards corresponding to the visited stations are then replaced by new ones, then the next player takes their turn.

Players score points in two ways:

  • By building track and connecting their lines to various types of stations, by collecting landmark tiles (in Paris), by connecting stations across water (in New York) or at the end of the game if they have achieved their secret objectives (in Paris).
  • By having the passenger use their lines when moving.

After all destination cards have been drawn and all players have taken the same number of turns, the game ends.

Paris is a thoughtful map offering many options. To win, you need to strike the right balance between collecting sets of tokens, connecting secret destinations, blocking other players while not being blocked yourself, and of course carrying the passenger. Paris is the refined elder sister of the original On the Underground: London map and is recommended for experienced players.

New York is a fast-paced map reflecting the hectic pace of life in the Big Apple. It encourages players to mirror real life by creating lines through Manhattan, but you have to build quickly to keep up with the always-moving passenger.

Minions. Spells. Blood and silver.

A Brazen Crown is the first card game based on Mörk Borg, a pitch-black apocalyptic fantasy RPG set in a bleak and dying world.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
A Brazen Crown is a lightning-fast battle card game with strong drafting options. Each player controls a blended deck from two of five iconic factions (Royal, Occultist, Esoteric, Fanged & Scum) and wins by reducing their opponent's health points to zero.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
On their turn, a player has three coins to spend on minions, spells, relics and traps from their hand. While the ultimate goal is to deal damage to the opponent, other card abilities include wounding or healing minions, searching for other cards, gaining loot to be spent on later turns, and so on.

Take the role of a guardian to defeat a colossal ice rival

You and your fellow spirits should keep the commandments of the seasons. You should work as a team and reforest the forests with sacred seeds and bring in abundance.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Hitodama is a fantasy-themed strategy game with a watercolor style. It tells the story of guardians of the forest and their actions to take care of it. In each game, the board is changing, favoring, or disfavoring the cardinal points activating effects of the activated areas. The resources distributed on the board are obtained by the system of worker placement. During your turn, choose between playing cards you have in your hand or interacting with other players. Get your own resources to get your victory points, but you must not forget that the players must work as a team to advance through the seasons.

Hitodama is ideal for players looking for a challenge, but it also works great for novice players. The story is beautifully told with art that makes it unique.
