Captain Bluff

Captain Bluff is inspired by a real story: Unhappy in his job, a baggage handler has been caught recently messing up with luggage, sending it to every destination but the right one, and it had been happening for years!

Now it's your turn! To win, be the first one to dispatch all your luggage! To do this, open new conveyor belts, swap round departure cities, and get rid of your luggage quickly! But be careful as your colleagues also want to leave early and can call you out if they realize you are getting rid of luggage on the wrong conveyor belt!

Which one of you will be the airport's new Captain Bluff?

Omerta

1932, Chicago: You are a prohibition gangster. The Untouchables are about to raid your smuggling warehouse. Get rid of your stock before your opponents get rid of theirs.

Play as many rounds as the number of players. Whoever has the lowest score at the end wins. To win a round, you have to be the one who has the lowest stock of bottles when Omerta is called.

Misty

It’s raining outside. The windows are misty, but covered in drawings. Players receive cards with different designs and keep only one for their window. They then give the other cards to their neighbor.

After 12 turns, each player has a magnificent window filled with drawings that will come to life in front of them: the balloons float up, the vehicles drive out and the leaves fall down. Only some of the drawings can earn you points. The most beautiful and valuable drawing is the flower, but watch out for the monster who keeps on trying to eat it.

Misty is a tactical draft game, in which to win, one must anticipate where the cards will move and watch the other players’ windows.

Bandida

Tired of seeing Bandido always escaping? Beware, a new gangsta’s coming to town. Which side will you choose this time: will you play cop and try to prevent Bandida from running away, or join the wild side and help her? In this new Pocket game, you will find all the things you loved about Bandido and more. Three different ways of playing and cooperating all together bring even more fun.

Papageno

In your enchanted kingdom, a flock of colorful birds is flying around. To impress the Queen, will you be able to attract the best specimen to land on your wire? Pick them carefully to score fewer points than the other bird catchers and beware, the biggest birds might cost you victory.

In Papageno, players collect bird cards, exchange bigger birds for smaller ones — or vice versa — and create pairs in order to find the perfect balance on their wire. Papageno, Mozart's famous bird catcher, can help attract birds in your garden...or mess with all the players' games.

Uwe Rosenberg's New Spiel-Nominated Game! 🌙

The new moon is a symbol for a new beginning, the perfect time to start something new and to plan your future — and that is what Nova Luna (lat. for new moon) is all about. In each round of this abstract tile-laying game, you have to plan your future anew, developing a new strategy to cope with what the moon wheel has to offer you.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
On each turn, you have to decide which new tile from the moon wheel to place in front of you. Every new tile brings a new task you have to fulfill. In order to do so, you need to place tiles of the correct color adjacent to the task you want to complete, but these of course again bring you new tasks. Each time a task is solved, you may place one of your markers on it. So decide wisely and be the first one to place all your markers.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Nova Luna is made by acclaimed designers Uwe Rosenberg and Corné van Moorsel, and was nominated for the 2020 Spiel Des Jahres. In the committee's words: "A game of “Nova Luna” seems to be an almost spiritual experience. From deep within a meditative trance, players contemplate their display of tiles. But behind this is a highly attractive intellectual challenge. “Nova Luna” arrives without any bells and whistles, it brings the game back to basics, just as how an unadulterated view of the night sky can bring more joy than the showiest firework."

Learn & Play Varia - The First Person Card Game

Hey Tabletopians!

We want to invite you all to our Learn & Play event on Thursday, 8th of October. Tabletopia will be hosting a live teaching session of Varia - the first person card game (which is currently on Kickstarter!). Mark from Tabletopia will be joined by Anthony, one of the co-designers of the game. We'll play a round or two to give you a feel for the flow of the game, and after the rules explanation you'll be able to find opponents among other attendees and play straight away. This is your chance to not only learn directly from the creator, but ask questions live!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
~~~~~~~~~~~
Varia is a new style of collectible card game that pits you against your opponent in combat.
When playing Varia, there are no minions to protect you or creature summons to hide behind. Instead, you raise the shield. You cast the spell. You swing for the win with your weapon of choice. If you want to win a game of Varia, you are going to have to do the fighting yourself.
Each Varia class deck allows players to feel what it's like to actually be that class. While each deck offers its own unique take on combat, Varia is a highly-configurable system that also enables you to build a custom class that best represents you. With Varia, the only limit is your imagination.
Our event will take place at 8pm Eastern | 5pm Pacific on October 8th, and will be broadcast on our Twitch channel. Please also join our Discord server for matchmaking afterwards.
Please pre-register for the Learn & Play to help us plan the event!
Race through the cemetery and apprehend the Professor!
The Pet Cemetery is an exciting pet monster-themed tabletop board game for 2 to 6 players that is easy to learn, family-friendly, and is great for parties and game nights! Players use strategy, planning, and educated guesses to outwit their opponents and be the first to capture the Professor.
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Players start at the edge of the cemetery with 3 cards in hand. On their turn they can move one space toward the end, play a card, or draw a card from the deck.
The game board tiles and game cards include a variety of actions that allow players to spawn and move pet monsters into the path of their opponents, search for treasure, keep themselves safe from attacks, jump over obstacles, skip opponents turns, and cheat as they navigate their way across the board and attempt to hinder the progress of their opponents.
Cards can be chained together to create amazing combos that allow players to maximize each turn. The first player to find a set of handcuff cards in the deck and cross the finish line wins the game.
Additionally, each player is randomly dealt one of the 10 unique character cards. Each character has a unique ability that players can use during the game to give them a unique advantage over the others, so pay close attention to what each player can do so you can plan ahead!
A brutal and irreverent story-driven arena combat game!
NEXUS is a brutal and irreverent story-driven arena combat game that takes place on massive space barges. Packed with rabid and bloodthirsty fans, these barges feature an array of deadly hazards that are designed to indiscriminately kill or injure all combatants. Full of beautifully illustrated and amusingly inappropriate cards and lore, each bout leaves you with a story to tell and laughs to be had by all.
NEXUS puts dice, the classic tabletop gaming tool, to good use; to pit genetically engineered champions, known as helots, against one another in visceral combat. Players will experience the rush of being a lanista as their dice rolls determine the fate of their hapless helots followed by thunderous bursts of laughter.
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Bloodthirsty Combat - Engage in bouts that pit fighters against each other in an all-or-nothing battle where only one will emerge victorious... and possibly alive. But do not worry, NEXUS is not all about winning and losing in the barge arena. Even a loss can build your fame and wealth enough to defeat your opponent in the only outcome that truly matters, your rise to power.
Command Your Champion - Known as helots, these mindless genetic freaks rely on your instructions to put them in the best positions to win. Overpower your opponent’s helot with your champion’s brute strength or use your helot’s cunning to lure its adversary into hazards - no method of winning matters so long as your helot is the last one standing.
Adapt, Evolve, and Conquer - Switch up your strategy on the fly, take advantage of turning points, triggered events, positioning bonuses, and other tactics that can turn a losing bout into a rousing victory.
