Climb The Karmic Ladder 🙏

From the creators of Osmos comes Karmaka, a competitive card game that plays out over multiple lives.

Karmaka
is a tactical card game set in a karmic universe. Players begin the game as lowly Dung Beetles. In life after life (hand after hand) they climb their way up the Karmic Ladder, racing to see who will achieve Transcendence first! During each of your lives you'll be working towards three ends:

  • Score enough points to climb the Ladder and keep up with your rivals.
  • Stash a good selection of cards to your Future Life. This will become your opening hand next life.
  • Play cards for their abilities to help yourself or to hinder others.

But what goes around comes around. A key tension in Karmaka is that after playing a card for its ability, a rival may take the card into their Future Life. Your actions may come back to haunt you in the next life...

Score points to ascend while sowing the seeds of your next life, and – if necessary – sabotage your rivals. But remember, what goes around comes around, and your actions have consequences in this life...and the next.

Omicron Protocol is an “intra-apocalyptic”, cyberpunk-themed miniatures skirmish game for 1-4 players, where you control a squad of unique characters and a 3rd party enemy to harass your opponent.

In the year 2050, the once utopian city of San Lazaro was crippled by a mysterious virus. Quarantined and cut off from the rest of the world, the survivors band together in order to escape the city before they too succumb to the infection. The only thing standing between them and salvation are the rival factions looking to accomplish their own goals in this chaos, and the “CyMS”; once ordinary people that have grown maddeningly violent and unpredictable for reasons unknown.

Every character in the game is represented by a detailed 32mm-scale miniature, possessing their own rich history and personality, as well as powerful cybernetic abilities! Play the competitive or solo/co-op modes through various scenarios to survive the crisis! The game is filled with innovative game mechanics that make every game thrilling and exciting, ushering players deeper and deeper into the gripping lore of San Lazaro and those who fight in its chaotic streets.

Tabletopia Sponsors Virtual-Gaming-CON

Tabletopia will be partnering with The Dice Tower and BoardGameGeek as a sponsor for their combined digital con: Virtual-Gaming-CON. The event will be held on June 24-28 from midnight GMT-5 (Dallas time).

As part of the event and for us to help gamers come together in a year where in-person cons are no longer possible, we will be making our ENTIRE games library free for anyone to play (including Premium games).

We will be working on a schedule for events, Learn & Play events, livestreams, and more which we'll be releasing closer to the event. More information about how to access the convention will also be released at a later time.

Additionally, as a way of supporting the people who make the games possible in the first place, any publishers with Premium games who would have normally recieved income share for the event period will still be paid accordingly.

Tom Vasel and Scott Alden chatted on yesterday's Dice Tower "Daily Chat" about the event in further detail.

We're really excited about this partnership and we hope to see you (digitally) there! More details to follow!
