Beta Update #7
We are continuing to make a lot of progress to the opening flow of the crash scenario on Gemini Site B. This Beta Update adds in new biomes to the environment art and a ton of clean up to the first hour of gameplay.
New Features
- New Oasis Biome
- New Cave Biome
- Added numerous species of Plants to Gemini Site B
- Improved environment art and lighting
- Faint outline around items in a 5M radius
- Crafting tables items stay visible after leaving
- All Utilities and Power Systems have descriptions
- Objects will now be built facing the player
Fixes
- Improved descriptions for Item Containers
- Created screenshot for saving before Inflatable Dome
- Fixed rain sound that would take too long to fade out
- Multiple Crafting Table inventory fixes to handle edge cases
- Fixed Build Goal update when interacting with Storage Crates
Changes
- Sleeping can now only happen during certain hours of night
Special Notes
We had to beef up a few things in the Save Game system, this time all Plants and Minerals, so it's probably best to delete your character and start fresh.
