Devlog 2: 20K Wishlists! How about a giveaway to celebrate? 🎉
Hey everyone, Nick here – back with another update from the demon resort development trenches!
[h2]First things first: WE HIT 20,000 WISHLISTS! [/h2]
Seriously, you people are incredible. When we hit 10K in week one, we were excited. Now we're at 20K and honestly, we're just trying not to cry happy tears (or leak any other fluids) onto our keyboards. Thank you! 🔥🔥🔥
Now let me break down what we've been up to this sprint:
[h2]Promo Materials – We're Getting Fancy[/h2]
We put together our first promo video in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats. Gotta cover all those screens, right? Whether you're watching on your PC or sneakily scrolling on your phone, we've got you covered with properly formatted demon girl content.
[h2]Location System – Method to the Madness[/h2]
We developed a systematic approach for creating locations and the events that happen on them. Think of it as our "resort planning guide" – except instead of planning pool hours, we're planning where and how you'll encounter our cast of hot demonesses. Very professional stuff.
[h2]Character Prototypes – Double Trouble[/h2]
We prototyped two new characters and we're getting really close to implementing fully animated sex scenes in the game. The art team is having way too much fun with this, and honestly? Good for them.
[h2]UI/UX – Making It Smooth[/h2]
We created some slick transitions between screens. No more jarring jumps – just smooth, sexy navigation through menus.
But here's the big one: we completely reworked the card battler screen's visual execution.
We realized that interacting with your character during gameplay is just as important as the actual card mechanics. You're not just playing cards – you're playing cards with a hot demoness who has opinions about your strategy. So we recomposed all the UI elements to make sure both the cards AND the character get proper screen real estate and attention.
