Floorball League is Coming to Steam!

[p][/p][p][/p][h3]Announcement[/h3][p]We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: FIJOY Games, the studio behind the upcoming open-world sports title Floorball Practice, has officially acquired the Floorball League IP, just in time for the 15th anniversary of its original release.[/p][p][/p][p]For years, fans have asked both Prodigium Game Studios and FIJOY Games where they could find the 2010 classic Floorball League. We saw this as the perfect opportunity to celebrate the game’s legacy, bring it back to players, and strengthen our commitment to developing more floorball experiences.[/p][p][/p][p]We owe a huge thank you to Petri and Jussi, the original creators of Floorball League, for trusting us to carry their vision forward. Back in 2010, they partnered with the IFF and the Finnish Floorball Federation to launch a game that left its mark on the community. We’re honored to continue what they started.[/p][p][/p][p]The original game will return to Steam under the name FBL ’10 and Floorball League 2010. You can already add it to your wishlist, and it will be available in just a few weeks. This version will remain unchanged as a tribute to the work of the original developers. After the re-release, we’ll be upgrading FBL ’10 with a new engine, redesigned menus, modernized UI, enhanced textures, a broader soundtrack, and other improvements. This enhanced version will be titled Floorball League 2010 Remaster. Anyone who purchases the upcoming Steam re-release will receive the remaster for free once it launches. For new players, the remaster will be priced around $15 and will also include the untouched 2010 edition.[/p][p][/p][p]We’re also exploring console releases. With dev kits for PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox in hand, our goal is to bring Floorball League 2010 Remaster to as many players as possible.[/p][p][/p][p]In addition, many of you know that Prodigium Game Studios had already started development on Floorball League 2.
