Development Status #116
Dear Mechanics,
Welcome to our one hundred and sixteen development status update.

We are coming to you with some news and work in progress update regarding in-game museum editor called by us Museum Creator.
PzKpfw VI Tiger Ausf. E
As promised in the last development update. With the upcoming update 1.6.0 (which you can read more about here) we will add a new tank. Yes, yes, another Tiger, this time version E, which we made for Tank Squad a month ago and which we will also include in TMS.

This one is a bit different in comparison to Tiger 213 which uses final textures with camo/colours already applied. Tiger E is made in "classic" approach where colours, camouflage, decals can be applied as you wish. The model itself obviously contains few changes. Few elements have been added and few have been removed.

There is also a commander version in Tank Squad but… fourth Tiger in TMS? Maybe T-70? :)
Upcoming patch 1.6.0
We are preparing a major update tentatively numbered 1.6.0, which will include a number of new features and fixes. One of the most important things the patch will bring is Stage 2 of the Roadmap. The main fiddle here is played by the Museum Creator. We wrote about it in Dev Status #114.

In addition to an editor for the museum, where you can build and configure rooms to your heart's content, there will also be a decorator props shop. This includes a shop with so-called ‘Museum Collectibles’ aka ‘Metal Objects’. - that is, what can be extracted on extraction missions, i.e. weapons including machine guns, medals, decorations. In addition to this, the patch will also include the aforementioned Tiger E.

So yeah, altough we are working heavly on Tank Squad we did not forget about TMS ;)
Console update
We have come to an agreement again with Console Labs. The original company porting TMS to ‘old’ generation consoles. Robert and I decided that, unfortunately, there are only 24 hours in the day and a lot of work to do, whether it's on Tank Squad or unfinished business at TMS, so we couldn't make the port on our own in time, even though we had managed to order development versions for the ‘new’ generation of consoles. Ordering the port to Console Labs was also recommended by our main investor.

More here: Official Console Labs statement

Console Labs is currently working on a port for the ‘new’ generation. The port will include this game in version 1.5.5 which means for sure both DLC1 and DLC2. What is planned for version 1.6.0 should also be included in the port, especially as work on the Museum Creator has been going on for some time and the current version of the repository used by Console Labs already includes this editor.

Development Status #114
Dear Mechanics,
Welcome to our one hundred and fourteenth development status update.

We are coming to you with some news and work in progress update regarding in-game museum editor called by us Museum Creator.
Museum Creator
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

As we mentioned in previous development status - part of a stage from the roadmap is about extending a museum rooms. We would like to present you something we have been working on for quite some time now.

The Museum Creator, as we called it, is an upgrade that can be purchased from the Upgrade Panel. Each unlocking adds another room to the Tank Manager which we can modify. It is currently possible to unlock and have 100 such rooms in the game. Each of these rooms have a maximum of 12 slots. Unfortunately, we have some capacity constraints in game performance.

There are 12 slots, but nothing prevents you from creating your own museum for, say, six tanks. By moving a tank to a slot in the room, the game will take us to the Museum Creator. On the initial screen we have the choice to use a template, create a new one or load an existing save. The template will include a layout prepared by us with objects - in our case these objects are called museum props. But if you want to start from scratch, it's not a problem. There will be only basic logic components on a scene such as the computer, editor stand, player spawn or tank slots.

Props can be moved around the scene to adjust their position. Update will already contain a collection of props that you can put on the scene to build our own museum. Some of the items are already prepared by us for you to choose from, but the fun is that you can make the props by yourself.

You will be able to upload props to the Steam workshop as mods or download other mods like props to the game. Once you have built a room, you will be able to save it for your own use or share it and publish it as a mod on the Steam workshop. Alongside the roadmap update, we are preparing an update to the modding tools which includes newly edited tutorials in PDF form. As well as a tutorial written for Museum Creator, which will be available directly on Steam in the guides section for TMS.

That's as much as we wanted to show you, let us know what you think in the comments!

Thanks for all the support and have a good weekend.
