You'll ease in with an exploration sequence of the Workers' Quarter and then move through a selection of various levels.[/p][p]"Protected by his headphones, Felix, the game's protagonist, has broken free from the loudspeakers’ control and finds himself in the streets of the cardboard city of Phonopolis. The Independent Games Festival has been around for over 20 years and now, for the first time ever, comes a Steam event dedicated not only to this year’s IGF winners and nominees but also to some of the greatest indie games that succeeded at the festival in the years before. Surprise! ːsamorost_spiritː The very first Samorost game, originally released in 2003, is now available as FREE download on Steam. It is the first time this game is made available as a standalone game, as opposed to the previous web browser (Flash) release. Aside from this PC and Mac release, you can also download Samorost 1 for free to your iOS and Android devices.

This new version of Samorost 1 comes with remastered and newly recorded sounds, enhanced graphics, full-screen support, and brand new music by Floex (Tomáš Dvořák), the composer from Machinarium and Samorost 2 and 3. Don't forget to share your impressions with us in the comments!
